This week, Dave Wescott and Scott Calentine talk with special guest, Amanda Joyce, a local Washington beekeeper. Amanda is a beekeeper and the proud owner of HoneyLux Honey. Her passion for beekeeping began as a hobby in 2018 and quickly turned into a fascination with every aspect of bees and honey. In 2020, she turned her hobby into a business and established HoneyLux. At present, Amanda manages approximately 10-20 bee colonies. She sells the raw, unpasteurized honey and wax her bees produce both online and in select local markets. Amanda is pursuing a degree in counseling psychology and aims to integrate beekeeping into her future counseling practice.
