Honeyville council tackles flag lots, delinquent water bills

The Honeyville City Council has strengthened and clarified grey areas in city code, from land use and utilities to public safety and community events. Following the council’s discussion in February to outlaw flag lots, it was decided to put the issue before the public. Flag lots have long been a source of frustration for the council as their proliferation has limited options for development and often disregarded ordinance requirements for fire hydrants and road frontage.
