Following discussion of the issue in April, Honeyville Mayor Bruce Nelson last week put forward a proposal to increase Honeyville’s water rates. Honeyville’s water rates have remained unchanged since February of 2017, resulting in those rates lagging behind the rate of inflation. At present, Honeyville has water rates that range from to ,560 depending on the size of the pipe, from field taps and the standard residential connection of three-quarters of an inch, to agricultural connections between two and six inches.
