Honor Everyone: 1 Peter 2: 13-17: Day 10

Followers of Jesus use their freedom to honor God by honoring others.Peter calls believers to submit to governing authorities for the Lord's sake. At first, this can feel uncomfortable, especially knowing that Peter lived under the Roman Empire. Yet Peter reminds believers that our respectful conduct can silence false accusations and display the transforming power of the gospel. Christian freedom is never permission for selfishness.
