Honor is Key

In this Church on the Move Roswell message, Pastor Marco Dominguez teaches that “Honor is Key,” explaining that certain doors and blessings won’t open without a heart of honor rooted in humility (Proverbs 15:33). Honor begins vertically with reverent fear of the Lord and then flows horizontally into relationships, recognizing the God-given value in people. Using the Ten Commandments, he outlines practical ways to honor God (loyalty, no idols, honoring God’s name, keeping the Sabbath) and honor others (parents, life, marriage, property, truth, and contentment). He warns against dishonoring God’s appointed leaders through stories of Miriam and Aaron’s criticism of Moses and David sparing Saul. Pointing to Jesus’ obedience and forgiveness on the cross, he calls listeners to repentance, forgiveness, and salvation, inviting people to the altar to surrender and honor Christ.
