Honor the Son
from God’s Holy Mountain Broadcast Hosted by Evangelist Martha P. Davis
Evangelist Martha P. Davis’ sermon “Honor the Son” teaches that honoring Jesus Christ is essential to truly honoring God the Father. Drawing from John chapter 5, she explains that Jesus is not merely a teacher or prophet, but God the Son, sent by the Father with full authority to heal, give life, forgive sin, and execute judgment. Using the healing of the impotent man at the pool of Bethesda, she contrasts religious tradition with God’s mercy, showing that Jesus brings wholeness through faith in His word, not rituals or human effort. Throughout the message, Evangelist Davis emphasizes that Jesus does only what He sees the Father do, revealing the Father’s will and character to humanity. She teaches that salvation, eternal life, and resurrection are found only through Christ Jesus, whom God commands all people to honor equally with Himself. The sermon concludes with a strong call to confess Jesus openly as the only Savior of mankind, warning that rejecting or dishonoring the Son is rejecting God, while believing in Him brings everlasting life and freedom from condemnation.
