Honoring America's Veterans - A Life of Service and Sacrifice

Rear Admiral (retired) Connie Mariano honors America's veterans by sharing the story of her family's over 200 years of combined service to the U.S. armed forces. Dr. Connie first tells her own personal story of 24 years of active duty, and is then joined by her youngest son, Jason Stevens, who describes life growing up in a military family. Dr. Connie also interviews retired Army Sergeant First Class Glenn Powell, with whom she served at the White House. Sergeant Powell shares the story of his military career and highlights from his newly published memoir, "My Last Baggage Call Aboard Air Force One: A Journey of Sacrifice, Service, Family and Friendship."
