Good morning. It is May 27th, 2024. It is Memorial Day. In our little town of Dunedin, Florida, where I went to high school, we remember 14 heroes.
13 of them died in Vietnam. Their names are Robert J. Anderson, Jeffrey D. Annabelle, John Avella, John Michael Borg, Dennis O.
Brothers, Richard Cochran, Michael J. Saunders, my brother's best friend, by the way, Michael Dundas, Russell T. Ford, Bradford B. Green, Keith McKinney, Barry A.
Delpin, Robert Shaw, and young Zach Shannon, who died in Afghanistan. We do not have parties today. We never say the word happy when it comes to this holiday. We spend the time reflecting about all of the heroes in all of our towns, in all of our cities, in all of our rural areas, who made the ultimate sacrifice.
I am so grateful for them. This is a very short, short podcast. But that's what I want to think about today. Are those people, the people who gave their lives in Afghanistan, in Iraq, in Vietnam, in Korea, in World War II, in World War I, in the Gulf War?
All of them. They're heroes. We'll be back to the fun stuff tomorrow. But be grateful for our heroes today.
