Honoring Our Mothers

Mothers Day is a day we set aside to honor our Mothers. Mothers are so important and fill such a crucial role in our lives. God created mothers to nurture us and train us to follow God. This weekend join us for a special service focused on Honoring our Mothers. In the Ten Commandments God instructs us to honor our father and mother. The truth is that honoring our parents is crucial to our success in this life. It matters so much that we figure out how and why we must obey this command. Our mothers aren't perfect and some of us have hurts related to our moms. The command God gives is not dependent on our mothers being perfect but it is important because it affects our health and success. God promises that if we do honor our parents we will have a longer and healthier life. Our attitude towards our mothers comes from the God given position they hold and what that represents before God. As we obey God and show honor to our Mothers, we find health comes into our lives.
