Camica Edwards, mother, educator, counselor & community leader designed a free academic program to supplement traditional schooling, focused on Black history & Kwanzaa principles. The dynamic pilot project, "Sankofa Saturday", began in February, 2022, inspired by her father's memory. It's held in a community classroom for 3rd-6th graders.
