HONOUR YOUR PARENTS 

Ephesians 6:1-2 (AKJV)Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise.  The Word of God is clear when it gives instruction about the relationship between children and their parents. I want you to take note how verses 1 and 2 speak of two different sets of parents. These verses are not repetitive; rather, there is a lesson to be learnt there. The first verse talks about obeying your spiritual parents that God has placed over you, and verse two talks about your biological parents.When you dishonour your parents, both spiritual and biological, it affects your life negatively. Success may come, but it can be fleeting, with cycles of ups and downs, losses, and instability. Honouring your parents is a divine instruction that guarantees a pleasant life!
