Hoop Talk Ep. 109: Positional Rankings: Western Conference Power Forwards
from The Hoop Talk Podcast with Jalon Dixon and Ryan Leshko · host Jalon Dixon and Ryan Leshko
Entering the 2020-2021 Season the NBA has not seen parody across the league in quite sometimes. You have had the Big 3 in Miami, the Dynastic San Antonio Spurs and most recently the overwhelming talent of the Golden State Warriors. But now the league has become wider open than it has ever been over the last decade. With that in mind, we finally get a chance to stop homing in on just the top 2 or 3 teams/talents in each conference and really get a good look at some of the amazing talent spread out throughout the NBA.On this edition of the Hoop Talk Podcast, Jay and Ryan continue the HTP's 1st edition of the NBA Positional Ranking series by breaking down their lists for the top-10 Power Forwards in the Western Conference.Once known to contain some of the top talents in the game, the Western Conference once had the likes of Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan, Dirk Nowitzki, Kenyon Martin and many others. Now the new guard has taken over and the young crop of big men have definitely taken the game to the next level. Guys like Anthony Davis, Kristaps Porzingis and Draymond Green are the standard bearers for the newly defined "Stretch-4" position along with guys like newcomer Zion Williamson who has brought a new finesse flare to the old-school under the rim power forward. Where do these guys rank amongst the pack? Stay Tuned!Music Sample from: Impossible Beats - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f26UIYCRg1oOriginal Song from: The Boondocks Intro Theme song by Asheru- Judo Flip
