After starting with six teams in contention for the final spot, the field has been significantly narrowed down over the last few weeks. The New Orleans Pelicans and Sacramento Kings were eliminated and sent home on Wednesday. The San Antonio Spurs after losing to the Utah Jazz. And the red-hot Phoenix Suns were sent home yesterday after the Portland TrailBlazers defeated the Brooklyn Nets. Now the race for the last spot comes down to two teams: the Portland TrailBlazers and the Memphis Grizzlies.
