Hoop Talk Ep. 68: NBA Draft Analysis Series: LA Clippers

With that, each team prepares for October as some of the best college and overseas prospects all await that fateful day in hopes of hearing their name called by Commissioner Adam Silver. In this edition of the Hoop Talk Podcast, the guys take a look at the LA Clippers. After an epic 3-1 collapse to the Denver Nuggets, the once coveted LA powerhouse now has to regroup following the firing of head coach Doc Rivers and potentially losing a key piece in Montrezl Harrell this offseason. The Clippers only have the 57th overall pick which means they will have to identify a true "diamond in the ruff" if they want any chance at acquiring a rotational player for this roster with that late of a pick. The road to glory for this team is only going to get steeper which means they are going to have to find a way to get better fast with the cards they have been dealt which could mean guys like Paul George and Lou Williams could be in trade discussions. Nonetheless this team has one of the last three picks in this year's draft and they will have to make due. Who do the guys think the Clippers will take with 57th overall pick?
