With the NBA Draft just over a month away, the 2020 NBA Lottery has been set and the draft order is officially locked in. With that, each team prepares for October as some of the best college and overseas prospects all await that fateful day in hopes of hearing their name called by Commissioner Adam Silver. In this edition of the Hoop Talk Podcast, the guys take a look at the Los Angeles Lakers. As the Lakers enter the 2021 NBA season as the defending champions, a target will be drawn on their back by many if not all of the top teams in the league. When taking into consideration the fact that this team was LeBron and AD or Bust, this team will need to make significant changes this offseason if they want any true chance at repeating. To start that process off, the Lakers have the 28th overall pick in the first round and there are some interesting point guard and center prospects available late in the first round that could bring immediate contribution to a title contender like LA. But who do the guys think could be the best fit for the Lakers with that 28th pick?
