Hoop Talk Ep. 73: NBA Draft Needs: Memphis Grizzlies

With the NBA Draft just over a month away, the 2020 NBA Lottery has been set and the draft order is officially locked in. With that, each team prepares for October as some of the best college and overseas prospects all await that fateful day in hopes of hearing their name called by Commissioner Adam Silver. In this edition of the Hoop Talk Podcast, the guys take a look at the Memphis Grizzlies. As a young team led by the young duo of rookie phenom Ja Morant and prolific big man Jaren Jackson Jr. this young team was on the verge of a very unexpected playoff birth as they came into the NBA Bubble restart as the 8th seed in the Western Conference at the time. The Memphis Grizzlies will be entering 2021 with Morant in his 2nd season, a new addition in Justise Winslow who will hopefully be healthy after missing most of the 2020 season and coach Taylor Jenkins has a handful of other moldable pieces that he can build up in a much anticipated 2021 season. Memphis has the 40th pick in this year's draft and could potentially add some much needed depth to the roster and get Morant another playmaker to get the ball to.
