from The Hoop Talk Podcast with Jalon Dixon and Ryan Leshko · host Jalon Dixon and Ryan Leshko
The Basketball Podcast BY FANS, FOR FANS!With the NBA Draft just over a month away, the 2020 NBA Lottery has been set and the draft order is officially locked in. With that, each team prepares for October as some of the best college and overseas prospects all await that fateful day in hopes of hearing their name called by Commissioner Adam Silver. In this edition of the Hoop Talk Podcast, the guys take a look at the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder enter this offseason as one of the most encouraged teams in the league after making an unprompted postseason appearance and nearly took out the Houston Rockets in the first round. With young building blocks like Sha- Gilgeous-Alexander, Luguentz Dort, Darius Bazley and others along with a litany of draft picks, this OKC team set up to become one of the best young rebuilding teams in the league. They also have trade assets like Chris Paul and Dennis Schroder who both could command even more draft picks and young assets. In this year's draft, the Thunder have the 23rd pick and the 53rd pick which does put them in the position to find some more "diamonds in the rough." Luguentz Dort was a guy who the Thunder stole in undrafted free agency and he came on strong in the playoffs. Can they find another "Luguentz Dort" with one of these late 1st or 2nd round picks that they have? Who do the guys think the Thunder could snag at 23? The guys answer all these questions and more!
