Hoop Talk Ep. 84: NBA Draft Needs: Phoenix Suns

With that, each team prepares for October as some of the best college and overseas prospects all await that fateful day in hopes of hearing their name called by Commissioner Adam Silver. In this edition of the Hoop Talk Podcast, the guys take a look at the Phoenix Suns.Led by the superstar talent of Devin Booker and the coaching of head coach Monty Williams, the Phoenix Suns are coming off of a promising 8-0 record in the Seeding Games during the NBA Bubble. Now the Suns have acquired future Hall of Fame point guard Chris Paul which indicates that Booker and this young Suns team are prepping to make a run at reaching the franchise's first playoff appearance in 10 years. Phoenix has some promising pieces like two two-way wings in Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson, frontcourt depth in DeAndre Ayton, Aron Baynes and Dario Saric as well as a lottery pick in this year's draft. In the 2020 NBA Draft, the Phoenix Suns have the 10th overall pick which gives them a perfect opportunity to acquire a offensive punch off the pench to add some more offensive firepower to this already dynamic roster.
