Hoosiers vs Bison: Heat to Home Field | Indiana Hoosiers Football News

Indiana Hoosiers roll into their second game of the season against the Howard Bison, fresh off a 52-16 demolition of North Texas — and with a chance to make history as these teams face off for the first time ever. Last week’s scorching 150-degree conditions made fans wish they had shade, but Saturday’s forecast is much more inviting: 86 degrees, low 67, just a 24% rain chance. Coach Curt Cignetti is riding a 17-game home win streak and is undefeated when his team scores 40+, which they’ve done 16 times. But injuries loom — RB Khobie Martin’s out until mid-season, and starting corners AJ Harris and Jamari Sharpe are day-to-day. Meanwhile, Howard’s Ja’Shawn Scroggins dazzled last week, earning Player of the Week honors with 300+ passing yards, 3 TDs, and nearly 50 rushing yards — and Howard enters this one at 1-1.
