DALYJoseph J. Daly started his career as a police officer in March of 1970 and has served as the Springfield Township Chief of Police since January 2009. Prior to police work, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1967 to 1969, where he was promoted and served as Combat Field Sergeant. He completed two tours in Vietnam, finishing his last tour as a Weapons Platoon Commander. During his service, Joseph received a Bronze Star, the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, and the Purple Heart. Married: For 52 years to Donna, three children; Denis (Wife Amy), Donna Noga (Husband Christopher), and Tracy O’Connell (Husband Paul).
