Hope-filled Contentment

The Apostle Paul made missionary journeys, founded churches, and reached countless souls for Christ. Yet he wrote, “I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content” (Philippians 4:11). The Lord promises to be with us in every season of life. Our path may not be easy, but His Son strengthens us every step of the way. As we turn to Him in our aging years, we can find hope and peace. We can trust that He has a great plan in store for us, even when we can’t see it. Paul assures his readers, both then and now, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).
