Hope in Suffering | Mike Bassous

We're jumping into the Outspoken Bible stream for this Bible 2020 theme in order to tell you about a new series of interviews linked with Hope in Suffering.   ------     Welcome to Hope / Suffering – a new series of interviews where we ask the question – where do you find hope in times of suffering?   We've been talking to people from all over the world who have had very different life experiences, but who have all had to deal in one way or another with suffering in their lives.   And while the ways of suffering have been different, the place they look for hope is the same – they look to the Bible.   On this episode we talk to Mike Bassous. Mike lives in Beirut in Lebanon, which is where he was when we spoke to him. For the past 20 years has been at the Bible Society in Lebonon, and for fifteen of those years, he’s been the General Secretary  . His role has taken him across the globe, and has visited over 60 countries.
