She was then moved to a military ground turned orphanage in Moldova which became home to thousands of unwanted children due to the huge gender disparity following WWII. The daily abuse and harsh regimen defined her childhood, living under the oppressive rule of the regime and the widespread corruption.Lilia Klaczynski now resides in Madison County with her husband and four children however her life began much differently.
