Hope in the Resurrection - Fr. Micah - November 9, 2025

In this Sunday’s Gospel reading, we encounter two people who find themselves in hopeless situations: a man whose daughter is dying and a woman who has been sick for 12 years. Because of their faith and trust in the Lord, they went from hopelessness to joy, as the man’s daughter was raised and the woman’s sickness cured by the Lord.We too sometimes find ourselves in hopeless situations. But Christ gives us hope, the hope of the resurrection. Fr. Micah encourages us to have true faithfulness and active trust — not just belief —that we may experience the hope and joy of the resurrection, which imbues every moment of our lives with meaning.
