Hope in Waiting and Suffering

This week we look at two topics that are some of the hardest for us to work through—waiting and suffering. These two things are difficult. They make us feel pain, they slow down our plans, and they way heavily on us when we are in the midst of them. In James 5, James outlines how to endure these two seasons of life in a way that allows God to work and bears fruit in our lives, bringing us joy. How do we hold grief and hope in the same heart?
