Lauren Abrams is the founding member and managing partner of the Law Offices of Lauren Abrams. She has been exclusively protecting the rights of employees for over 22 years. Lauren is pleased to serve as co-chair of the Practice Management Committee of the California Employment Lawyers Association and is a member of the Women's Law Association of Los Angeles, and the State Bar of California Employment Section, the National Employment Lawyers Association among others. Her practice areas include wrongful termination, whistleblower and retaliation, protected leaves of absences, disability discrimination, pregnancy discrimination, race and/or age discrimination, national origin discrimination, racial harassment, sexual harassment, and wage and hour/overtime violations. Lauren started the uplifting weekly podcast 52 Weeks of Hope based upon one year of interviewing a person a week about life’s meaning, a “why are we here” kind of a quest after going through a tough period of life. People divulged such deep personal information, Lauren had to share it, thus 52 Weeks of Hope emerged. She loves talking about her journey, and the people she interviews along the way, as well as the common themes people disclose to get to the magic of life and each other. Lauren is happy discussing anything and P generally, they arrive at a positive message because she has found that eventually everything really does work out.
