Dr. Lee Warren understands the pain of searing loss; his son was stabbed to death by a close friend. The details of the murder are not clear, so Warren, a brain surgeon, inventor, and Iraq War veteran, had to deal with not only the pain, but also the inconsolable emotion of not understanding why. So he became his own patient.
