Hope? Or False Hope?

 Today President Trump and other administration officials held a news conference that apparently was intended to calm coronavirus fears as well as Wall Street jitters, as nearly all of the stock market gains since his election have been lost. That, of course, is the big deal for Trump. That and the fact that a probable recession could doom his chances for re-election. So today he claimed that FDA had approved one drug and almost approved another that can help  make those who contract COVID-19 to, in his words, get better. Only problem is, his own FDA chief cautioned against “false hope.” The picture isn’t quite as rosy as Trump would have us believe. So we tackled that today in our blog on Not Fake News.biz.
