HOPE THAT ANCHORS THE SOUL!

from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix

Scripture: “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil.” — Hebrews 6:19 (NKJV) Message: Life is filled with storms—times of uncertainty, hardship, and waiting. In these moments, we need something firm to hold on to, something that won’t be shaken by the waves of life. Hebrews 6:19 reminds us that our hope in Christ is the anchor for our soul—strong, secure, and unwavering. Unlike worldly hope, which is uncertain, biblical hope is rooted in God’s unchanging promises. It is the confident expectation that He will fulfill His Word, no matter what we face. Just as an anchor keeps a ship steady in turbulent waters, our hope in Jesus keeps us grounded when trials come. No matter how fierce the storm, we can trust that Christ holds us fast. He is our refuge, our strong foundation, and the One who will never fail us. When doubt and fear try to shake us, we can cling to the hope that He is faithful and His promises will stand forever. Today, ask yourself: Is my hope anchored in Christ or in temporary things? How can I remind myself daily of God’s unshakable promises? In what area of my life do I need to trust Him more deeply? Prayer: Almighty Father, thank You for the hope that anchors my soul. When life’s storms come, help me to stand firm in Your promises. Remind me that You are faithful, and my future is secure in You. Strengthen my heart to trust in You fully. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
