Hope That Lives
from RLCC Daily Devotions Hosted by Various
Hope That Lives 📖 1 Peter 1:3“He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” We live in a world filled with dying hopes. Jobs end, money runs out, health fails, and relationships can break. But Peter tells us that in Christ, we have a hope that is alive—because Jesus Himself is alive. His resurrection isn’t just an event in history; it’s the foundation of our future. Think about it: every other hope we build our lives on eventually ends at the grave. But not this one. Our hope breathes because Christ rose from the dead. Maybe you’ve gone through moments when life felt empty, and you wondered if anything could last. In those moments, remember—the hope Jesus offers isn’t wishful thinking. It’s living, real, and powerful because it rests on Him. That means your future is not defined by your failures, fears, or even death itself. It’s defined by a risen Savior who promises life. So, when everything else feels shaky, anchor yourself to the hope that breathes. 🙏🏻 Reflection: Where have you been tempted to place your hope apart from Christ, and how can you shift your trust back to Him today? 💭 Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for being our living hope. Forgive us when we anchor our hearts in things that fade. Help us to rest in the unshakable hope that comes from Your resurrection. Amen. This podcast aims to strengthen your faith in the Lord Jesus by giving you additional insights from God's word based on each week's Sunday sermon.
