Hopkins & Penn State Get Dropped, Duke & Syracuse Roll, Maryland Survives (LaxFactor Podcast #272)

What an opening weekend of college lacrosse. We saw #13 Denver take down #5 Johns Hopkins in overtime with JJ Sillstrop going crazy and scoring the games final 4 goals, including the OT winner. We saw unranked Colgate take down #4 Penn State on the road, scoring the game winner with 4 seconds left in regulation. We saw Syracuse and Duke each roll their non-conference foes. We saw Loyola beat up on a Georgetown team that is trying out all sorts of new starters. Maryland needed 2OT's to take down Richmond on the road. Rutgers eeked out a 2-goal win over Lehigh.
