Hopkins Challenges Adams for QB2

Wisconsin’s quarterback race is heating up as Ryan Hopkins surges into the backup conversation, challenging Deuce Adams with explosive athleticism and relentless effort. While Colton Joseph remains the starter, Hopkins is forcing the coaching staff to earn the No. 2 spot — a sign of depth and competition the Badgers haven’t seen in years. Even former top recruit Carter Smith may now be fourth-string, highlighting how much the roster has improved. With key practices ahead, Hopkins’ rise could reshape the QB room — and it’s a thrilling development for a program that’s long struggled with quarterback uncertainty.
