Horizon League Basketball Championship Shifts to Noblesville | Northern Kentucky Norse Basketball News

The Horizon League basketball championships for 2027 are heating up with a major upgrade: all finals move to Noblesville’s brand-new Riverview Health Arena, designed to spotlight top teams and build buzz ahead of March Madness. Men’s tournament kicks off March 1 with a play-in, while women’s starts March 3 with top seeds hosting — both converge in Noblesville for semifinals March 8 and crowning champions March 9. Detroit Mercy’s men’s team is ineligible due to academic issues, but the action remains fierce with 11 men’s and 12 women’s teams vying for NCAA bids. This restructured format rewards consistency, elevates the experience, and sets the stage for an unforgettable run toward the big dance.
