Joyell is the Founder & Curator of Harp +Sword(https://www.harpandsword.co/) where her and the team are curating intergenerational joy and liberation. Joyell is a racial and gender justice strategist, educator, womxn’s rights activist, and restorative justice practitioner. Her professional background is in education, reproductive justice, international civil and human rights law, race and equity, transitional justice, community outreach, and reconciliation. Joyell received her B.A. in Black Studies from Washington College and her J.D. from New England Law | Boston. She utilizes her legal and public interest skills to address the intersections of race/ethnicity, equity, gender, incarceration, and sexual health. She is a DOPE human that has a fondness for Missy Elliot and recently had the pleasure of being a facilitator at @startingbloc where she enjoyed all the wonders of both the conference and New Orleans.
