The Minnesota Legislature pledged $75 million to upgrading mental health care this year, most of it going to replacing and expanding a major inpatient care facility at the Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center. In this episode, we talk to Sue Abderholden, the executive director of the National Alliance on Mental Illness Minnesota, about what it will mean for patients, as well as the concerns she has that Medicaid cuts may thwart some of that progress.
