Host and Announcer Faruq Tauheed and Country Artist Kimberly Dawn

Faruq Tauheed is the new host of the NBC series, Roots Less Traveled. Produced by Ancestry, the series follows two family members searching information and historical facts about family and relatives long since past. The series will premiere on April 4th. Television fans will recognize Faruq as the ring announcer on the popular Discover Channel series BattleBots.We will talk to Tauheed about both his shows and his experience in Italy just ahead of the Covid-19 crisis.As Nashville been hit with both a tornado and now being shut down due to the Corona virus crisis, Kimberly Dawn has looked to help.The country artist just donated $5000 to the Red Cross in Nashville and campaigning for more people to contribute. This comes on the heels of her new single "Nashville".We talked to Dawn about her background in music, her connections to "Music City USA" and her new single.
