Stephen Dixon In this episode our hosts talk to mild mannered financial adviser Stephen Dixon about his passion for growing chillies. He not only grows, cultivates and nurtures chillies, his passion for chillies goes much deeper than that. He’s also a bit of a Victor von Frankenstein, as he’s also had ago or two at cross pollinating different plants in order to create even hotter chillies. Stephen’s love of all things chilli doesn’t stop there, he also runs a chilli called sauce company called Hot Pods selling his hot sauce blends all over the world. It’s fair to say that chillies have become a bit of an obsession for him over the years. So much so that he also attends chilli festivals up and down the country, as well as running chilli eating competitions. Ironically, he’s a bid of a sadist when it comes to inflicting the hot heat flavours on unsuspecting hot sauces lovers. He will happily real you in, then hit you with a hot sauce that deadens the taste buds on the devils tongue. If you want to know anything and everything about chillies, this episode is going to leave you with a warm burning sensation in your mouth, that’s for sure.
