Hot Topics: Compounding Conundrums: Compounding, what it IS and what it ISN’T

With the release of the revised USP guidance, it is important to revisit some of the basics of sterile compounding. The Section of Inpatient Care Practitioner’s SAG on Compounding Practice has developed a three-part series that will cover differing definitions of compounding, beyond use dates (BUDs), and extended stability.
