Report: Joey Porter Jr. wants to be the highest-paid corner in the NFL. Is that a non-starter for the Steelers? Is it too much money? The guys talked about the other money that has been thrown around by the Steelers this offseason. Porter doesn’t have the accolades in terms of All Pro’s that some other corners have, but there is no denying he has been very good in Pittsburgh. Is it worth dropping more than $30M/year on him? The guys think if Mike Tomlin was still here, the deal with Joey Porter Jr. would already be signed. ALL ACCESS w/ Aditi – The conversation was stunned off-the-bat to find out that Poni had 34 fantasy football teams last season. Is it fair that the Steelers want to see Joey Porter Jr. practice first before giving him a new deal? Should the Steelers buck up for Peezy? Aditi doesn’t think Porter traveling with every team’s WR1 or not should be a huge hold-up because he’s still taking out half of the field. Does Porter fit what Patrick Graham wants to do with this defense? Aditi thinks Will Howard could actually get through waivers and be placed on the practice squad. She believes the idea of Mason Rudolph being cut loose is a little bit silly. Aditi wouldn’t put too much weight into one bad quarter or half of football in a preseason game.
