Lots, lots, lots, lots of uh scheduled for this afternoon as the 8th congressional district here in South Carolina has our daily meeting. We appreciate you tuning in. Thank you very much. Well, President Trump is going to be addressing the nation tonight um at nine o'clock. We will be carrying that address. 00:29 right here on News Talk 989W ORD. And a lot of people are wondering, like, what's he going to be talking about tonight? What's he going to be discussing tonight? And we, you know, probably several different things he's going to be talking about. Number one, probably going to be talking about Iran. um And that's what we're hearing is that he is going to be discussing Iran. But we don't know what he's going to say. Is he going to say that the war is going great? 01:00 Is he going to say the war is coming to an end? Is he going to say we're going to send ground troops, which I think I think that would be a very bad announce. Or is he going to come on and say, listen, we've already sent ground troops in and this is what we've been able to accomplish with some of our Navy SEALs and Delta forces and all of that stuff. So nobody really knows what he's going to talk about tonight, but what he might be discussing this evening as well. 01:30 is the Artemis 2. This thing's going to be blasting off just a little before 6 30 this afternoon. It's going to be heading to the moon. It's going to be returning on April the 10th. That's a pretty long mission there. So again, are they going to go like 200,000 miles or something crazy like that? So this will be the first time that we have been back technically to the moon. 01:59 in a long time, they're not going to be landing, not going to be a moon landing or anything like that. um But it's going to be very interesting to see, very interesting to watch. So our thoughts and our prayers absolutely go out to these astronauts because they are literally, I mean, I remember, who was it? it John Glenn? I can't remember which astronaut said it. He said, remember, boys, we're sitting on a rocket that was built by the lowest bidder. 02:28 And he was exactly right. Thanks for taking my call. the TV uh and the people from the Supreme Court trying to uh somehow bring reasoning to this birthright citizenship. can only 02:57 say one thing from history, and I know it's true, because I was a student of uh the college of Ben Franklin. And Ben Franklin said, if you keep bringing people to this country, they will outnumber us someday and take over. Oh, absolutely. Absolutely. You're right about that, Now, the whole question behind birthright citizenship is the phrase 03:28 and under the, basically under the jurisdiction thereof. 03:34 That is, that's going to be kind of the sticking points. Now, also, today, Katanji Brown Jackson has proven that she is not fit by any stretch of the imagination to be a Supreme Court justice. She said something today that everybody just kind of went, what in the world? I have that clip coming up for you in just a little bit. 04:03 But this woman is an absolute moron. 04:07 Well, also, Justice Alito did a great job today, but we'll see how they rule. I'll give you my honest opinion. I don't think they're going to rule with President Trump on this. I think birthright citizenship is going to stay. I don't believe his attorneys are putting their best case forward. When an attorney says, I'm going to have to look into that. Yeah. uh 04:34 That's not a good thing.
