Is he hands me a list of topics? He did so on Tuesday. I didn't get to it. I still have that same list. One of the topics on Tuesday, which he still wants to talk about today, is Josh Allen's butt.
Is that what you wrote down? Okay. That's the way I experienced what it is that you wrote down. Yeah, no, I mean, I could talk about it, but no, it's more of Tracy Wolfson padding him on the butt. I don't know if you caught that.
Tracy Wolfson, not my hero. It was after their last game and they're just doing the post game and she's like, okay, well, go enjoy it. And you can see in the back where she's just like swinging and tapping him on the behind. And I'm just like, have I ever done that? Would I ever do that specifically?
Would I ever do that to a football player? Yeah. And I don't know. It got a lot of attention, but I didn't actually hear a reaction from people. I don't know if they were just like, well, that's unprofessional and being all straight, you know, buttoned up or they're just like, heck yeah, Tracy.
It's like that, boy, right? Kind of. It's been done to me and I've done it to others. Yeah, no, again, I'm fine with that. The whole idea of it.
But after an NFL game, I don't know. I just don't know what the little weird to me. But again, salute to her. Is it odd if I tell you that the person who did it to me was Cliff Floyd in a bathroom? Whoa.
Just you know, it was bathroom conversation. I said something. I got to go back. I think we're at a radio station. I said, I got to go back.
I got to hustle. I got to get back to segment to start. He said that boy. He gave me a little tap on the fairy. It was a good conversation.
It was the first time I ever got confirmation that I had written a decent story. I was still in college. It was writing for the alligator. And I've written a story on, you know, Teddy, you remember that name, right? I was a story that came out.
And I was covering practice that day. And they were leaving practice. And he just goes, good story. And the rest of the reporters are just like, hey, that is quite the compliment. I think it was something I was telling a story about Cliff Floyd.
Or yes, it was a compliment towards Cliff Floyd, which is why he did it. I don't think he does it well. He nilly. You know what? I think Tracy needs to do that more often.
So I'm with you on that. So you were OK with it. Oh, yeah. 100%. You were just surprised more people weren't OK with it.
I was just confused because I didn't really understand what the reaction was. Were there people getting upset by it? Were there people just saying, hey, shoot your shot? I don't know what they were saying. But it just made me think, yeah, that's something you don't see every day.
No, no. Is it a strange way for you to receive praise? The strangest way I ever received praise? I was out of Miami, North Carolina game right here in Hard Rock Stadium. And I'm doing a stand up.
And next to me doing the stand up is Will Manso. And Will Manso is as buttoned up, polished as a sideline reporter, gets. And he's waiting to go live. I'm just pre-taping my segment. So I'm doing my stand up.
I finished the stand up. And Will Manso turns to me, goes, I have to tell you, you are great for a college kid. And I didn't have the heart to tell him I was 27 years old. But a young 27. I'm from Utah.
I say it every time I see Will Manso. That was just like when you read these really long promos going into breaks and there's no other sound around you. That right there, what you said you were doing was doing a video into a camera that you know is not live, which means you know you can mess up. You'll just start over again. The loneliest feeling in the world.
I don't know why I always screwed those up. There must have been people back in the truck in the SBN days. It's like, Jesus Christ. This guy can't get one thing correct. Like, how is he on camera live?
There's something different when the camera's on and it's live. And when the camera's not live, it's just like, I just feel like I'm talking to nobody. A loneliness. Now I'm starting to think of it was Cliff Floyd. I mean, I've never told the story before and I'm debating was Preston Wilson.
Well, I don't know. You know what? Let's stick with Cliff Lloyd and let's get you in. I know, but I don't want Cliffy to get mad at me. How would he get mad?
I have no idea if I have any sort of right to call him Cliffy. Listen, I know Cliff Floyd and Preston Wilson. I covered them both on the 2000 Armands. Yeah, it was definitely Cliff. He does Preston Wilson not that friendly.
Not that chummy. Taylor, Izzy was. I don't know if he was poking fun. He had some thoughts here on the next ring ceremony. It was the greatest night of Taylor's life.
So great that he got mad at Brian Cashman the next day. Well, I was listening to Ike in the update and it made me it made so much sense because Taylor, did you experience this when you were watching the ring ceremony? They had these or these former Nick greats, right? Or relatives of former Nick greats. From the last championship team.
OK, from the last championship team, hand the assistance, the box with presumably the ring inside. But none of the assistance actually opened the box. It was just in the box. Here's a box. Go sit down and give me an awkward hello.
And we're now learning that there was nothing in the box. What's in the box? I don't. How could a team that has been waiting so long for one of these ceremonies screw up the ceremony? They had time to prepare.
I would have had a blueprint for this entire thing exactly how I wanted to go. Did somebody just not order the rings in time? Is that what happened? It's just very confusing. But it's good to know that it confirms what I believe there was something odd there.
And the odd thing is, oh, there was no ring. So you know I don't want to say anything bad about James Dolan because James Dolan has all the technology in the world to make sure I never get in Madison Square Garden again. But if somebody were to say something bad about James, again, this is not me saying something bad. You love James Dolan. Some people would say maybe he was not planning on buying any assistance rings.
Those rings were only going to be for players on the team, players that scored baskets in those games because you also had the phishing email that was disguised as a championship ring offer to where Joe Schmo and ticket sales get an email saying, hey, let us know what size your ring is. Click this link. And then all of a sudden, if he clicks the link, they're sitting him down for a mandatory cybersecurity call. That's cyber security. Talk about a letdown.
I don't know if you can go from one high to such a class on cyber security. Kill me now. So you're saying if anyone could, what are you saying exactly? That James Dolan did not buy championship ring for the assistant coaches? So I'm not saying it.
But if people wanted to criticize James Dolan today, I would say that those people would say James Dolan has an ability, a rare ability to wear, even when he wins, he somehow loses and he can't get out of his own way to look like an incompetent owner. Again, that's not me saying it. Right. You love James Dolan. You love the Nick.
You even love his band. I mean, that's stupid because we have. But you're saying he tried to trick the assistants by giving them an empty box? I mean, do not open. Jeez.
What if they made the box so difficult to open that the assistant's never actually found out that it wasn't in there? Because they can't open it. Yes. And James swears there's a ring in there. If you can get it open, that's next level.
Just not checkers. I find it hard to believe that he didn't buy his assistant's ring, though. I mean, listen, I work for the Marlins when they won their second World Series. I got a ring. I was selling that was slinging tickets at a ticket office.
How much you get for it? I'm like 12 grand. Yeah, that thing was up for sale the next day. What was Facebook marketplace before Facebook marketplace? Because I think I flipped on Black Market.
Yeah, I'm not black market. Just down the street. Is it interesting just going back to the NBA here for a second? The Sixers, Bestie in the League from two games. But Jalen Brown, who went there to get away from Jason Tatum to be a number one is not a number one.
He's playing a role there playing it well. And he's going to have to continue playing that role because Maxi's their number one offensive option to think. Should be. Maybe in Beat second, and Brown might be third, second or third, LeBron fourth. But it's interesting to see Jalen Brown embrace it the way he has.
It is to me. I think the most interesting. This is the part about his move that wasn't the best for him, right? Because yes, he went to a team that gets all the attention, that was expected to make the NBA Finals, maybe even win a championship. But it doesn't let him sort of get off what he wants to get off, which is, hey, I'm the man.
Watch me do this. He's going to have to, for the most part, play a role. But I just love what's happening between him, which sort of being exposed between him and Jason Tatum that throughout their time together or throughout his time in the League, Jason Tatum has felt sort of a disingenuous dude. Like nothing is actually him. He's just copying other people or whatever.
And then now we have, yeah, this one video that was posted or Jason Tatum's talking about how he was upset when Jalen Brown got traded, blah, blah, blah. And in the comments, you've got Jalen Brown with the blue cap emoji saying, that's a lie. And man, am I here for that battle between those two. When they, I would watch that game the same way I was there. But the same way I would have watched LeBron going back to Cleveland, I want to see those two.
Because Jalen Brown is going to absolutely own Jason Tatum. I don't know how. I don't know if it's words. I don't know if it's basketball. But he's going to own Jason Tatum.
And I'm here for you. You love the pettiness, the petty arguments that you seem to find mostly in the NBA. I love the petty arguments specifically when they're targeted at Jason Tatum. That's just something about him. We've been through this before.
There's some unlikable characteristic about him. November 10, Celtic six or so. Get your popcorn ready. That's official. Get your popcorn ready game.
Yeah, that's a percent. The unlikable thing is he seems fake, right? It does. Yeah, seems fake seems everything. It's just not really him.
Even though it's hairline is real. All right, there's a world series that's starting tonight. Jeff passing is the best in the business. He'll join us next to get us ready. Be sure to catch live editions of Stu Gods and Company live.

If there's a million times more digital intelligence than there is biological intelligence, it's hard to imagine humans being in control in that scenario. I'm Walter Isaacson, host of the new podcast, The Builders. Right now, living through an AI arms race.
So I went directly to the people shaping that future. Elon Musk, Dario Amadek, Alex Carr, Faith A. Lee, Farmer Laki, because I wanted to understand what the most consequential builders believe, what they feel, and where they think this is all headed. Silicon Valley is always saying that the cliche thing about the way to predict that future is to create it. Well, yeah, it's up to us.
But when you say us, who's us? Is it 400 people that you know in Silicon Valley? Is it me down here in New Orleans? They're brilliant, controversial. And they're already shaping the future.
The question is, who's imagination do we want to live in? This is going to determine the fate of nations and economies and the future of humanity. Listen to the Builders on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. For more than a century, Miss America sold the country of fantasy. Well, are you ready ladies?
Here we go. But over the past decade, the crown's been slipping. They said, goodbye to swimsuits now, hello to lawsuits. I'm Brigitte Armstrong. Last season, we took you inside the world of America's next top model.
Now I'm back with season two of this podcast, Curse of Miss America, investigating the rise, fall, and uncertain future of one of America's most iconic institutions. The Miss America patent. I never received scholarship money to pay for my three loans. Can you look at it and go, you don't look like you suffered a needing disorder? It's great, but it looks too ethnic.
It's a story the Miss America organization really doesn't want to sell. An exploitation of all of Miss America's is treated by the Miss America organization as an attack on Miss America itself. You only need one thing and that's the Get Worse podcast. Listen to Get Worse with Kyle Prue on the iHeartRadio app Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. The world series starts tonight.
Jeff Passen, nice enough to spend some time with us. He's in Milwaukee right now. Check out his podcast, sources tell Jeff Passen. It's a fantastic listen, wherever you get your podcasts. We do have the best two teams playing in the world series, don't we?
We sure do. They're not just the best two teams. They are very, very similar and how they have been built, how they approach the game, what they think of it. You know, in an evaluator, I was trying to put together a scouting report for ESPN.com. He was saying this about the Brewers, but I think it actually goes for the Rays too.
He said it's a 1980s baseball team with 2020 sensibilities. What he means by that is they have a wide array of ways to score runs. They can hit home runs, but you know, this goes for both teams. They can hit home runs, but it's not really their priority. They are menaces on the base pass, whether that's stealing bases or, you know, going first to third on a single or second home on a single or first to home on a double like, they will be aggressive on the base pass and they put the ball in play.
And when you see a guy like Chandler Simpson, it's just a, it's a fun throwback type of baseball player that he is where he will just pound the ball into the ground and run his ass off and say, beat me to first base and quite often the throws don't. So you've got the variety of him on one end of the spectrum and then Junior Camonero who's getting home runs and taking 40 second home run trots on the other side. And there's great, there's great, there's great hitching. Both Kevin Cash, who's the longest tenured manager, Major League Baseball and Pat Murphy, who's done it for only three years now, but is already among the best. Like there's good strategy going on here too.
So I feel like this has a chance to be a very interesting series that I just wonder are the Brewers, the 2018 Red Sox, like a force of nature that are just going to run rough shot through everything in their path. The Padres were a good team guys and they beat him three to one. The Dodgers were the two time defending World Series champions and they swept him. Like is this just the Brewers year or do the Rays have that? Rays thing, you know, that has propelled them toward the top of the sport but never to a championship.
That to me is the tension that's going on in the series here and what makes it so interesting. The Brewers ace Jacob Mizarowski, I feel like he was missing bats at an absurd rate during the regular season, but he really hasn't translated to October. Do you think batters have figured out something against him or is this just like a small sample size issue? I don't know how much of a concern it is because when you look at what the Padres in the Dodgers were doing to Jacob Mizarowski, they were spoiling pitches like there weren't swings in this is and they were pushing his pitch count up, but it's not like they were doing damage. If suddenly the fastball is becoming hitable as opposed to touchable, I feel like those are two different things there and I'm not sure that anybody, frankly, outside of a lucky swing is going to hit a home run off of Jacob Mizarowski's fastball.
Like the Rays end up to handle velocity particularly well or have good up very good numbers against anything 98 plus and this is going to be 100, 200, 200 plus all night. So I think they can absolutely take the lessons of what the Padres and Dodgers did and try to shorten up their swings and try and get the ball in play and drive up his pitch count and get him out of the game early. But let's also not forget this is the first game of the series after a more than a week long layoff where Aaron Ashby and DL Hall and Abner Rivey and Trevor McGill and Jojo Romero and the rest of the ridiculous bullpen that the Brewers have put together, they're all going to be rested.
They're all going to be ready to go out there. So if Jacob Mizarowski goes four or five tonight, I don't think that Matt Murphy, the Brewers manager is going to be all that mad at it as long as those four or five end up with a one or a zero in the run column. Who wins the World Series? I picked him at the beginning of October. I'm not going to change it.
I think the Milwaukee Brewers for the first time in their history will be World Series champions. But I'll say this too. I think if this series goes longer, the advantage tilts a little bit more toward the Rays. And here's why the Rays have their starting pitching lined up. They're going to Martinez game one, Jerasmas in their ace game two, ready for all to game three so they can go back to Rasmussen in six and parole in seven beyond that.
The notion of the familiarity penalty weighs heavily in this series and the familiarity penalty is the idea that the more times within a confined number of games, you see a relief pitcher, the worst that relief pitcher gets. And you know the way that matchups work now, like they're going to be specific relievers for the Brewers, which are their strength, the scientific pockets of the Rays lineup. You're going to see a lot of those same matchups. And you know, the first time or two that you see them, it might be a little bit difficult the third or fourth time. Suddenly, you know, their arms slot, you know, they're arsenal, you know, the way that their pitches move.
And if the Rays can continue pushing this on and get later into the series and the Brewers aren't getting depth out of their starting pitching, that's where it could turn. Jeff, you mentioned junior Kevin Arrow. How would we be talking about junior Kevin Arrow today if you played for the Yankees? It's a good way of raising the question. It is.
Right. Would we, would the Yankees still be playing? It's junior Kevin Arrow around the Yankees. That's a good question. Yes.
I mean, isn't junior Kevin Arrow kind of everything that the Yankees have already, except better? It's another platoon. Don't get me wrong, adding like a 900 OPS, anyone to any lineup is ultimately a good thing and the Yankees do need a third baseman. So that would be nice. But I don't know that junior Kevin Arrow, if he were a Yankee, would be quite as demonstrative on the field.
I think that being a Yankee inherently beats the fun out of you. And I'm not saying that like as an entire negative, that's their culture. That's who the Yankees are. The Yankees are corporate and the Rays are not. And listen for some players like corporate works or Aaron Judge, corporate dude, like it lines up pretty well there.
I don't think though that Cam and Arrow going in there would be a whole lot different than like jazz chis, just somebody who's got some flavor, somebody who's got some personality. And I think it would be different in that like junior doesn't make some of the mental mistakes that jazz does. So he would be pretty beloved in New York. But I don't think he would be taking trips around the bases like he does right now with the Rays. If you were a Yankee, the only thing Taylor loves more than Jalen Brunson is the Yankees.
And he is very upset that they have again, re-signed Cashman. I think it was Sal Lakata who was on with us earlier this week. He said the problem with the Yankees is they don't think they have a problem and Cashman is the problem. Do you agree with that? I don't think Brian Cashman's problem.
No, I think it's I think it's a large stew of things. I'm not trying to like cop out and avoid saying that they deserve criticism. Yeah, Brian Cashman deserves some criticism. Aaron Boone deserves some criticism. The people in the clubhouse deserves some criticism.
Hal Steinbrenner deserves criticism. Sometimes problems can't be boiled down to a single person. We try to simplify these things when we're talking about an organization that has hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people all trying to do the same thing. And if at the end of the day, you want to say the person at the top of the chain is the one responsible for ensuring that everything underneath him or her is right and that that leads to an organization winning. Yes, in that respect, Brian Cashman is responsible for the Yankees not winning because as the president of baseball operations, it is his job to do that.
But I'm not going to sit here and say that Brian Cashman's decision making itself is directly responsible. If that's the case, can't you look at Brian Cashman and say that he's developed Ben Rice, who's one of the best bats in baseball and he's developed Cam Schlitler who's going to win the American League's Eye Young this year and is one of the best pitchers in baseball and put together a team that consistently wins 90 games, which yeah, it hasn't led to World Series championships since 2009. But I think a lot of other teams fan bases would take the consistent winning that they have. The problem is that the Yankees and that's not good enough. And that's okay.
I don't mind expectations like that. I just think like being realistic about what this is is more the point. And that's that Brian Cashman isn't bad at his job. I think a lot of the parts of his job, he's done really well. But when it comes to building a team, there are flaws and weaknesses on this Yankee team.
It is not a well-rounded team. It's a pretty one-dimensional team. When it comes to Aaron Boone managing this team, I think Aaron Boone has done a pretty good job. But for him to say that there's nothing wrong, there's always something wrong in your culture. You always need to be improving your culture in one way or another.
And if you're not reaching your goal in the Yankee stated goal is that we're going to win a World Championship every year. If there's not more self-reflection and more honesty about the things that you might be doing wrong, that to me is where the problem would be. And I thought how Steinbrenner laying blame on the players. That was that was interesting. Yeah.
My problem, my problem, Jeff is sometimes Cashman and Steinbrenner specifically, they talk about the Yankees problems like they're outside observers. Like like they inherited this team from somebody where it's like the offense let us down. I think four of the past five seasons, they've mentioned that the offense let him down in the fifth season was the Juan Soto season. It's like, Oh, who's constructing this offense? What would you say to Yankee fans who are rooting for the lockout?
Why would Yankee fans be rooting for the lock? Because I want my spring free next year. He knows the ending already. Sorry. You don't have the answer.
Let's go back to the side. I'll think I'll think a pass on that one. Where will that side in your house when you go home? You have a trophy room. You have a memorabilia room.
Well, that thing be prominently displayed. Will it go center? Like where is that going to go in your room there? It's going to go up on the backdrop. Because here's the thing, man.
As we age, I'm 46 now. I understand that the number of two AM nights I have left in me might be twin. So there's an amount. There was one point at the bar last night. And I think it was Adam Vary who covers the raise for mld.com.
He turns to me and he says, Hey, dude, I think you're the oldest guy left in this bar. And I wasn't sure. The first instinct there was fried like, hell yeah. I made it true. But then I thought to myself, am I the saddled guy in the bar?
Is that what I've become? Yeah. Well, if you guys do it again in Tampa, you give me the saddled guy to strip club. I mean, how about that? You guys shut that fucking place down, man.
Oh, my goodness. All right, man. Whoa. Wait, before you. You might only have five or six left.
Jeff, we appreciate it. We know it's a busy time for you on the way home last night, two 15 in the morning was there in order of some sort of greasy food. Did you get room service? How'd you handle that? Like a trima walk in.
I got George Web cheese burgers. Wow. That is special. What an evening. I had a like I had a Milwaukee night.
It was like I there was one point. I don't know if like how often are you recognized in public? Often. I mean, still often. Yes.
Okay. And so when that happens, how do you treat it? Because here's the thing. I could see you being a very gracious person and thoughtful. And I could also see you being a dick.
I kind of want you to be a dick. I'm never going to think you're probably nice. No, I'm always flattered by it. Yeah. It means a lot to me.
I always try to have a conversation or at least take a quick picture if I get. It's like it's a wonderful thing that the way I look at it is it's a wonderful thing that somebody is interested enough in this thing that I do or this job that I have or this world that I live in to come up and want to talk about it. That's a privilege. But quite often these people do not have feel. Yeah.
That's I don't know if that's a very strong term. Yeah. Like and man, there was a there was a dude last night who he was trying so hard to. He's like, man, I don't want to take up much of your time. But I got one more thing to say.
He had like eight. He had eight one more things. Oh, yes. And as we got to like five and six and seven, he started becoming a little bit of a close sucker. And by the end, you can see me creep out here.
This was like the perspective that I had from this guy. And we had spittle going on. Yes. And you know what? That's what the Brewers bring out people.
That's what baseball brings out people. That's what sports brings out people. That's why we love what we do. Yes. And I assure you, he had eight more questions when those eight were done.
And he would have walked you back to the hotel at two a.m. He would have slept there. He would have. So there were two. Yes.
When I get noticed, it's such a great observation by you. If it's a quick hello, if it's a quick story, if it's a quick picture, I'm always there for it. I'm always down for it. When you start asking me what I think the dolphins are going to do this season, that's when I become a dick. Okay.
So you see, that's the, I think the difference between the two of us is I just wear it. I feel like that's the cost of the life that we have is continuing to be nice to people. And when they're doing things that socially might not be seen as particularly accepted. Right. And in the back of your mind, you think, what is this going to end?
You know, I try, like I have done that, but I've tried this year to do that lesson just ride the waveman. You never know what someone's going to say that you're never going to forget. Yes. And in this case, what I'm never going to forget is the spray, like it was profound. As you got going down season.

If there's a million times more digital intelligence than there is biological intelligence, it's hard to imagine humans being in control of that scenario. I'm Walter Isaacson, host of the new podcast, The Builders. Right now, I'm living through an AI arms race. So I went directly to the people shaping that future.
Elon Musk, Dario Amadek, Alex Carr, Fei-Fei Lee, Palmer Lucky, because I wanted to understand what the most consequential builders believe, what they fear, and where they think this is all headed. Silicon Valley is always saying the cliche thing about the way to predict the future is to create it. Well, yeah, it's up to us. But when you say us, who's us? Is it 400 people that you know in Silicon Valley?
Is it me down here in New Orleans? They're brilliant, controversial, and they're already shaping the future. The question is, who's imagination do we want to live in? This is going to determine the fate of nations and economies and the future of humanity. Listen to the Builders on the I-Hard Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts.
From more than a century, Miss America's sold the country a fantasy. Well, are you ready ladies? Yeah, here we go. But over the past decade, the crown's been slipping. They said, goodbye to swimsuits now.
Hello to lawsuits. I'm Regid Armstrong. Last season, we took you inside the world of America's next top model. Now I'm back with season two of this podcast, Curse of Miss America, investigating the rise, fall, and uncertain future of one of America's most iconic institutions. The Miss America pageant.
I never received scholarship money to pay for my student loans. Can you look at any goes? You don't look like these suffered in eating disorder. So, gray, but looks too ethnic. It's the story the Miss America organization really doesn't want us to feel.
An exploitation of all of Miss America's is treated by the Miss America organization as an attack on Miss America itself. Listen to the courage of Miss America on the I-Hard Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. There are thousands of podcasts that can tell you how to better yourself. Yet worse with Kyle Brew is not one of those podcasts. So if you're interested in getting thinner, going to therapy, starting peptides and boundaries, taking supplements, making your better, getting closer, then I would humbly recommend other podcasts.
But if you're interested in blackmail of Bob and cloning yourself or getting revenge, then we've got a little something something for a dastardly individual like you. Take a listen to some of the incredible advice we've given so far. Fake a back injury. Get this right hand, up your alcohol consumption. Only women should be allowed to have guns.
Kill him. Kill him. Kill him. Listen, it's already over. I'm all about lying if it's something that really happened.
The next time a bear is running at you, you just calmly stop what you're doing. You look the bear in the eye and you say this isn't you. Do not preserve relationships. You don't need them. You only need one thing and that's the get worse podcast.
Listen to get worse with Kyle Brew on the I-Hard Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, I'm Jack Armstrong. You're Armstrong and Getty. We've been trying to figure out how to describe what is Armstrong and Getty on demand for many years. I'm going to give it a shot.
So most media is either a gender driven. They intentionally lead parts out or they lie together so shallow and boring. You don't learn anything anyway. We try to get to the bottom of the stories that are shaping our world and help you understand what's actually happening. The Armstrong and Getty show practically perfect in every way.
I really like it. So I've been listening for over 10 years. I'll always be an avid listener and veteran for it. The show is a collection of silly, serious, and irreverent musings of the day. Cleriously balanced with more than just a pinch of sarcasm.
Whether it's on the left or the right, if somebody does something or says something stupid, they're going to call it out. And I love that. I love it. I love it. I'm rocking with Angie.
So give it a try sometime entertaining you learn something. Where do I do this? Listen Armstrong, you're getting on demand on the iHeartRadio app Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcasts. There's no time like October and this is what it's all been for. The World Series is here streaming live on Fox One.
Raise verse Brewers, baseball's biggest stage. Stream it live on Fox One. Our thanks to Jeff Passer for joining us is he stepped out there because he's not into this world series. One of the things that Jeff Passen told us before we wrap up the week with the poll questions that's gots at the night. I'm not even going to let that be.
Alright, Max. Passen told us he closed down a bar at Milwaukee last night. And if you stay until closing, which is 2 a.m., they give you a sign saying you closed down the bar on the way out. It took a prize at the end of the night because you made it. But at some point in the evening, is he someone who works with Passen leaned over to him and said, hey, Jeff, you're the oldest guy in this bar at this point.
And I'm wondering if that's something you should be proud of or ashamed of? That's a good, you know, it's funny because it just reminds me, I don't know if you should be proud or ashamed. I also don't know how old he is. Like how old is Jeff Passen? That he's the oldest guy?
Is this college bar? He's 46. Yeah, but he's a young 46. He's based on head and shoulder shot that I see. Not 40.
But Taylor, I don't know if you've been to this place, probably not. It's right by where you live. It's called the Palm Room. I was there the other night and I had no idea what kind of bar this was. It ends up being a little bit nightclubish, but it's just basically ends up being like a really packed bar.
And it's just, there was a moment that just brought me back to my very angry 20s. Not that I was always angry, but just some time. But this one pair of guys were like walking by and they happened to step on Anthony's shoes and it was really annoying. And I was just like, yeah, just making sure that they were on their way. And the one guy looks at me and he like after he gets pissed off and tells me to f off and I'm just like, okay, I'm not going to get to a fight or bar.
I'm not really 20. He goes, he looks at me, he goes, you look like your 40. I'm just like, you have no longer made me mad at you. That is a great compliment. If you only knew how old I really was, sir, that wouldn't be, you know, that wouldn't be your go to line.
Also, with the 40 year old that I'm on. So you quickly went from thinking it might be go time to thank you. Thanks for the compliment, my guy. All right, let's get to the polls here. I still got 790 on X.
I love doing this. What is he has? No idea which poll questions we're going to cover. He's so clueless. First poll question is losing to the O and five Titans a fireable offense.
Culture GM got fired, Chris Ballard. Yes, but why the GM though? It should be the special teams coach effectively or like the head coach. Well, yes. The GM selects all the players.
He's the first guy to go. We know how this works. I think. Yes. Anyway, yes, he should have been fired.
95.7% of the audience said yes, losing to Robert Sallos should be the final nail in somebody's coffee. Okay. Next poll. If you only watched London NFL games, would you think Travis Hunter was footballs Michael Jordan? Yes.
100% and London, they think that they did. David Beckham there. Yeah. What were the results here? Do strange things happen in Provo at night?
They sure do. Every single year. Talking about it for decades. Travis Hunter, I'm sorry to go back to that one, but the fact that he's so athletic and talented that he can pretend to fall down. Yeah.
Just so a quarterback and so ridiculous level of athleticism. Are they going to keep using him on offense as much as they did last game or in London? Right. You think it was just a London exclusive? Well, he's the Michael Jordan of London.
Yes. Just shorten the sellies a little bit. 90.1% of the audience said, yes, strange things happen in Provo at night. No, today, I'm filming off the hard way. They got robbed.
Yes. Big one for me. He got robbed at night in Provo. That's what happens. I've never arrived.
I declared Marvin Harrison Jr. back. I said he never arrived. Yeah, I agree. He never did arrive.
He was in the marketing college. In college. Right. But he never arrived in the pros. So I could be back.
Did he arrive? Houston? I didn't even notice. I'm sorry. He was in London.
He was in London. No, he was in London. He was in London. He was in London. He was in London.
Yes. He's back. Three catches. Right. He's back.
He was in production. He was in production. Yeah. Wow. than being the camera guy that can't find the football.
Oh, the worst. It's got to be the worst. It's a job to find the football and he can't find the football. You've got to be so ashamed if you get fooled by play action. Oh, my God.
The cameraman crew, they might laugh at each other. They got Johnny. Johnny's following the running back. 77.6% of the audience said yes. That is the most lonely feeling.
Would Miles Garrett walk back to Cleveland today if he could? I think he would. I do. Walk. Slow walk.
Probably get some planar fascia with all that walking. I mean, the Browns are in first place. 68.9% of the audience said yes. Miles Garrett would walk back. All right.
Big one for us to do. Somebody suggested that archmending should go play a two lane and then Stu Gott said, a Manning wouldn't be caught dead playing quarterback at two lane. That was the ball question. Would a Manning be caught dead playing a two lane? A Manning wouldn't be caught dead playing quarterback at two lane.
Question mark? There's no way. 79.5% of the audience said yes. A Manning would never be caught dead playing. Going back at two lane.
Big one here for T-Bob. Does Lloyd Carr have underrated seat? Tommy Carr starting at Michigan now. CJ Carr starting at Notre Dame. Yeah, it did not happen.
Lloyd Carr is their grandfather. I guess he's a seed. Yes. No, but no one would think that Lloyd Carr would produce or be, I guess two generations removed from producing what he's produced. I for one did not think that.
I'm just absorbing it all right now. What were the results? 76.3% of the audience said yes. Underrated seat. Wow.
What's the rating? What is the properly rated seat? I mean, Lloyd Carr, I would say. I'm a good seed. If he asked me one of the chances that Lloyd Carr, two generations, is going to spawn off a couple of quarterbacks.
If he asked me when he was coaching at Michigan, just based on physical appearance, I would have said like 10% chance. Underrated seat. That's making it a LeBron, actually. Well, LeBron ever go to Genos and Pats. I said no.
Well, he ever got to Philly. Yeah. Wait, those are two different places, right? Genos and Pats, like across the street from there. They're competing.
Yeah, they're the two TCA joints in Philadelphia. Yeah. No, I haven't helicopter to them. Super eats, helicopter. They'll eat it on the chopper on the way.
82.1% of the audience said, no, LeBron will never set foot in Philadelphia. Quick update. I did my top five team to the NBA through one game. And now a couple of teams have played two. And Philly still number one.
So yes. All right. Wow, big one here for Stu Gats. OK. Who beat Mike Tyson in Tokyo in 1990?
Buster Douglas or partying with Bobby Brown. That's it. Easy, easy. Easy. Watch the doc.
I still want to watch it. But it has to be body grab. 74.3% of the audience said yes, partying with Bobby Brown is what he did. Mike Tyson in that night in Tokyo. What a night it must have been.
Yes. Wow. Big one here for Michael, Jr. His chess a board game. Yes.
They think chess is a board game. No, we thought we go. Gojo thought it's not a board game. Yes. Michael, it's senior.
His dad thought it was a board game. He said it's not a board game. I don't think it's a board game. I'm thinking too much. I'm firmly on the side of it being a board game because it's sold in the board game.
Yeah. I still call it a board game, but it is the most serious of board games. Yeah. Not exactly fun. Probably why should we call it board game?
It should be a separate aisle for boring games. 86.6% of the audience said yes, it is a board game. Two more here. Yes, with the dolphins and the jets. Big one here for Mark Hawkman and Stu Gauten cookout debate.
What do you want chicken nuggets as a side with your meal? No, no, no. It's not a side. It's a meal. Right.
Thank you. The main for a child. Yes. Can I have steak with the grilled chicken? What do we do?
You guys are in the minority here. 69.8% of the audience said yes, they would want chicken nuggets as a side. I like two more full questions. Two more. Is the worst time to play Anthony Davis and Joel Embiid in Game 1 of the regular season?
That's when you don't want to meet him because they're healthy is. For sure. 100%. That has to be. As close as we've gotten so far, I think 94.5% of the audience said yes.
Last poll question. Big one for me here. Did Disney only become the most magical place on earth after they tore down the Old Yankee Stadium? Yes. Because before then the Old Yankee Stadium was the most magical person on earth.
Is it the most magical place? I thought it was the happiest place on earth. I think it is the happiest place on earth. Now there's some debate because Ricardo's saying it's happiest, but I'm almost positive it's the most magical. I think it's the most magical.
If you think it of magic Kingdom, yes, it's the happiest place on earth. It is. That Disney World or Disney Land? No, stop it. Disney Land is just so much better for me.
It's so much smaller. Everything more accessible. Yes, go closer together. Yes. 62.1% of the audience said yes, Disney only became the most magical place on earth after they tore down the Old Yankee Stadium.
The idea of the Old Yankee Stadium was your Disney one point is absurd. You still have Caesar passes. Those were the polls that are right. Have a great weekend everyone. Izzy thanks for coming in to join the football everyone.
How do you know that Claude won't become manipulative? This is a constant worry. And you can actually catch the model thinking, I think X is actually true, but I'm the total user why. I'm Walter Isaacson. I'm my new podcast, The Builders.
I'm going inside the minds of the people shaping our future. Listen to the builders starting October 13th on the iHeart Radio App Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcasts. It's all just a joke. What is the value of these women? I'm Richard Armstrong, back with season two of the podcast, Curse of Miss America.
We're talking to participants, whistleblowers, and people who say Miss America didn't live up to their promises. He looks and he goes, you don't look like you suffered a meeting disorder. I never received scholarship, I need to pay for my student loans. Maybe this is the meta question for the podcast. Why does Miss America at this point?
Listen to the curse of Miss America on the iHeart Radio App Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcast. There are thousands of podcasts that can tell you how to better yourself.
