We've all heard the name Roy Moore, Judge Roy Moore. In fact, I interviewed him about 20 years ago or so. When he was an Alabama judge who decided he was going to keep the Ten Commandments in front of the courthouse. I've forgotten about that, but I've looked back in my records.

Anyhow, Judge Moore is running for the Senate of the United States on their accusations that he has sexually harassing women. When he was in his 30s and a prosecutor, he was asking 14 year olds for dates called one in school. He denies this and it's not true. Travis Marketing is a nonpartisan research firm and conducted a random survey of 478 likely voters across Alabama and Doug Kaplan.

That's Doug Kaplan with the K. He joins us on the Roy Green Show on the course radio network. Thank you very much. We have about four minutes to talk to you about this.

I'm going to go to the question 10. Have you heard or read any news about sexual assault accusations against Roy Moore recently? 11% said no. Are those people under a rock?

Yeah, that's the first poll we ran. The second poll we ran is 95% that have seen it and 5% that have it. Okay, so when you ask how did what you heard or read about the accusations impact your likelihood to avoid voting for Roy Moore, what are Alabama saying? Well, we ran two for it.

We ran one last week. We ran one this week. We saw a roughly a seven point swing. Last week Moore was ahead by two points, now more behind by five points.

So Jones the Democratic now had 47.42. And is he done if it comes to Alabama voters or does he have an opportunity to win that Senate seat? So the interesting thing about the poll is the big winner was the undecided column. The Democrat only gained 1% on people that were undecided went up 6%.

So it's possible the scandals could have peaked and Moore can come back. However, he has major issues. Okay, I'm looking at the poll that you did on the 10th of November. I think you're looking at the first.

Who do you think is more likely telling the truth than that one? Was it the four women or Republican Roy Moore in the November 10th poll 39% said the four women 36% said Roy Moore, how would that compare with what you found out this this past week? Yeah, those numbers have held. The big thing is this, there's a set of voters that voted against Moore twice, Luther Strange voters, those people in the suburbs, you know, in suburbia in Alabama.

And those people are the ones that are undecided that are going to stay home or going to make a break the election for more. The people who voted for Luther Strange. Is it unusual? Will it be unusual for a Republican not to win the Senate seat?

That particular Senate seat, which I think is the Attorney General seat previously, is it unusual for a Republican not to win the seat? Yeah, which shall be at the other Senate or their last few wins will be 30 or 35 polling. Well, let's be. Completely it's very conservative Republican state.

So your guess would not, I shouldn't say guess because you're polling. Your view of the situation is when the election rolls around, looking at the trending that it's going to be, Alabama's will not vote for Roy Moore. They will not vote for Roy Moore unless there's dramatic change and he explains himself. Yeah.

Doug, thank you so much. It was short notice. I appreciate you coming on. It was great.

All the best. I'm Captain from the I'm grabbing this marketing, the Alabama polling. So I have the November 10th poll, but I don't want to say that to him, but that's what they sent me. So it's really, we're going to talk to Catherine Linda Michelle about that about the more thing.

I mean, the names that we're hearing now is just one after another after another. And it's appropriate because that's outrageous and it's horrific. I'm going to tell you about what we're going to be talking about the next hour and you will not want to miss this. Stay with us.
