It's our number three, hour three, the Ben Mowers Show on this Monday, and there is just one left, one left standing, the Minus Ota Vikings. You look at your NFL standings and the Minnesota Vikings at six and all the only unbeaten team left. They got another win over the Colts. However, how concerned should Kevin O'Connell be about the Kyler Murray led Minnesota offense as they win not a lot of style points yet again for the Vikings? And can you explain why the Colts coach Shane Steichen is being so loyal to Daniel Jones?

We'll talk about that. And did Jonathan Taylor's wife help or hurt his situation with the Colts, his wife giving commentary on trade rumors, also placing herself on the roster and eating an apple. Check it, did not see her name on the actual 53-man roster. We'll talk about all that and more right now. Here it is, hour number three.

Get a little hazy, get a little hazy there in the Twin Cities and it's not just a purple haze. It's a haze of offensive incompetence. Well, come in the beginning of another hour of the Ben Mowers Show. We are in the air, every way. Me here, you there, as we avoid marble city for another day, coast to coast, port to the border, and beyond on the vast and discernibly powerful.

Microphones of FSR emanating live from the book. As in the audio sports book of the overnight, GARON-T-HUMEN and the world famous Fox Sports Radio studios where everybody Scott from northern Kentucky had a chance to meet him at the Big Mallor meet and we did it in Cincinnati slash northern Kentucky, Scott and Joe the ghost hunter who was also there. He said, hey, Mallor, can you tell me about Express? I said, sure, no problem. I got your workforce challenges slowing down your business, express employment professionals.

It provides workforce solutions to help reduce turnover by qualified talent, navigate compliance and build the right size workforce with more than 850 locations and express is ready to help. Visit expresspros.com, that's expresspros.com and I believe it was Perrito and Mad Jack that said, hey, what about that Fox one? I said, there's nothing like it. There's nothing like live, L-I-V-E live. This radio shows live Fox one NFL live.

This fall, every NFL on Fox game, the good, the bad and the ugly, they're all there. Streaming live on Fox one every Sunday, every rivalry, miss it live and you're just watching a highlight, catch every play as it happens, NFL on Fox, streaming on Fox one, very important there. Now, Falls fan Jimmy and Mr. Irrigation, they reached out and they were like, hey, Mallor. And I said, wait, what do you want?

I said, can you get to the model? Like I said, sure, why not? I'll get to the, yeah, I'll get to the model. So I lead this hour from the Twin Cities and then there was one. Then there was one.

Brian Flores is defense leading the way. Somebody named Blake Cashman, I don't know what that is. I'm told that's a linebacker. For the Vikings had 12 tackles, two sacks, four passes defended, three hits on quarterback Daniel Jones. For the Vikings, I'm told that's good.

And the Vikings continue their defensive rampage as they've allowed a league low 74 points. They get to six and oh on the season and if you saw any of this game or not, perhaps you missed it. So the Vikings led by Blake Cashman, also safety Harrison Smith, picked off Danny Dimes around midfield with about a minute left and that was turned out the last of the parties over. The last ditch drive for the Indianapolis close drop two and five and they needed a touchdown and an extra point to take the lead conceivably when the game they got neither the touchdown nor the extra point.

The story though here to begin is on the Minnesota side of things. The Vikings are the only team left that hasn't lost the game. That's it. Yet the offense continues to blow. There she blows the Viking offense there.

Historically terrible. If you look at the teams that have gotten off to six and oh starts undefeated teams, the Vikings are pretty much by themselves in many offensive categories for suck. And yet they are six and oh. Now Viking coach Kevin O'Connell was asked about this after he gave me a simple message. He said quote, we're not far off.

We're not far off. Okay. That is a good jumping off point. Let us discuss the question. We know that he says the Vikings are not far off.

But the question is how concerned behind the scenes should coach Kevin O'Connell be about the Kyler Murray led Minnesota offense? So I've got drive through menu board, DC Comics and aluminum foil. And we'll combine all of these things together and we are going to attempt to walk on water, which oh by the way is what Minnesota defensively is going to have to do. And they have to sing like a birdie and walk on water. And then even that might might not be enough.

So to answer the question though, the Vikings, I just read this big story leading into the game that they got many of their offensive players back and they're, they were close to full strength as they've been all year in Minnesota. So they got their guys back from injured reserve. The offense was whole again and they went out and played like that. So on the Mallor panic meter, the Mallor panic meter one to 10 with 10 being at the very top of the, oh my God, we're cooked scale of the Mallor panic meter. I'm at an eight.

Oh, the Vikings are six and oh, what are you talking about Mallor? Oh, calm down. Yes, it is true. The Vikings are six and open in terms of the Viking offense. Mallor scale of, you know what, panic, the panic meter, I'm at an eight.

I'm at an eight out of 10 and here's why. The Vikings getting these guys back and somehow it looked like they still had half the team on injured reserve. There was no rhythm. There was no rhyme, rhythm or reason for the Minnesota Vikings offense here. It was bad.

And when you look at the drive-through menu board and you stop and you're like, I don't know what I want to eat. Which combo meal do I want to eat? Like forget the combo meal. Coach Kevin O'Connell has anyone lost more stock despite being six and open Kevin O'Connell? He's supposed to be the offensive guru guy.

That's his thing. That's his claim to fame. And this Viking offense is just lousy. Lousy, but O'Connell has all the ingredients with star wide receivers and skill players and all that to have a five star meal, five star meal. And yet the little fella, alligator arms, Kyler Murray keeps serving Lunchables.

Nobody hates Lunchables. It's just not a five star meal. It's Lunchables. And alligator arms Kyler Murray, proving he is who he thought he was. He's the same stiff he had been in Arizona.

The Cardinals paid millions and millions of dollars to get rid of him, which should have been a dead giveaway, but it wasn't. Cause the Minnesota Vikings are like, Oh no, no, we know better than the Cardinals. We know how to coach this guy. Okay, how's that working out? No, not doing well.

Okay, not doing well. So alligator arms Kyler Murray is not the straw that stirs the drink. He is the paper straw that disintegrates halfway through the drink. That's who Kyler Murray is at this point. He's playing quarterback like a guy who accidentally walked in to the Viking facility and desperately wants nobody to notice.

That's your quarterback. You got Justin Jefferson, who the impossible has happened. Justin Jefferson, $35 million wide receiver has been reduced to decoy. He's a decoy at this particular point. Four catches, 44 yards.

It's not like the Colts have a good defense. Four catches 44 yards. And even worse, bad news on the horizon for the Minnesota Vikings because Grand Theft Auto six is launching soon. And we know Kyler is a much better gamer than he is a quarterback. So problems for Minnesota, that coaching staff, they're going to have to deal with even more limited attention.

The attention span of alligator arms Kyler Murray is not going to be very high. Once that Grand Theft Auto six comes out, so good luck on that. Meanwhile, furthermore, to the indie side of things where the Colts are beaten and broken and coaching stiking, despite all that remaining the president of the Daniel Jones Marching and Shoutter Society, refusing to bench his incompetent quarterback despite week after week of performances that are worthy of losing your job. But he continues to double down. And Indianapolis losing this game in Minnesota.

Jones dazzled at 108 passing yards. Very impressive. And he's just been just outstanding. 13 of 22 passing for 108 yards for the Indianapolis Colts. He then gift wrapped a game ending interception as the Colts go down.

So that means now through seven games, Danny Dimes. Good old Danny Dimes is completing a career low 59.6% of his passes. I'm told that's not good with four touchdowns and seven interceptions. We mentioned this earlier, but Minnesota bliss 85% of the time. Brian Flores said, hey, this guy can't handle the blitz.

And Daniel Jones gave a tutorial on how he can't handle the blitz. 85% of the time Daniel Jones dropped back, blitz, blitz, blitz, blitz, blitz, blitz, blitz, blitz, blitz, just like that. Daniel Jones, vanilla back, handled that by turning into a human pinata. Not good. Not good there.

So despite a radioactive 41.2 QB are for Daniel Jones, it turns out that Shane Stecken said he has a quote, ton of faith in his quarterback. Got to have faith faith faith. Got to have that faith. All right. So the question, can you explain why?

Can you explain why the Colts coach Shane Stecken is being overly loyal to Daniel Jones? All right. So because apparently Shane Stecken, the coach there in Indy, has a lifetime subscription to career suicide monthly for NFL head coaches. What are you doing? Seriously?

Like, what is that? You're going to double and triple down on Daniel Jones. And seems like Shane Stecken's trying to get fired? Now maybe he's lying and he'll change his story later on. And he'll say, like, I'm after watching the tape, we've decided to bench Daniel Jones.

I don't believe that'll happen, though. He's just not long for Indianapolis at this rate. Shane Stecken, he likely knows it anyway. You look around the room and it's not about loyalty, though, in terms of, I got to keep this guy's my quarterback. I've had so much great success with Daniel Jones and all that stuff.

It's professional malpractice wearing a headset if you're Shane Stecken, the coach there in Indianapolis. And Daniel Jones has become a DC Comics character, poison ivy. Everything he touches turns toxic. Daniel Jones, the poison is touch, the toxins, the ability to essentially behead in entire franchise. And he's doing it way to go, forget the Avengers, Indianapolis, at this point.

They need a hazmat team to come in, the quarterback room, and deal with Daniel Jones and my god. The Colts thought that they were going to refurbish Daniel Jones and they were going to get a new and improved version of Daniel Jones. Well, instead, it turns out they got the Giants New York Giants factory recondition model complete with the original defects. And there were so many. It is one of the great stories that this guy has mastered the Art Daniel Jones.

The Giants Game of Contract he didn't deserve. The Colts did the same thing. It really is wild. Daniel Jones has played well in about five or six NFL games in his career and yet has managed to get two contracts. Has anyone done less to get more money than Daniel Jones has?

It's crazy. It is. Jones spent a few weeks in 2025 masquerading as a big time quarterback, a franchise quarterback. He got hurt. And people forget, before he got hurt, he wasn't playing well.

And it didn't matter. The Colts are like, well, we found our guy. And so he was able to convince those dingleberries in the front office in Indianapolis, those mama-looks to hand him a two-year contract for $88 million, $60 million guaranteed. He got 60 million. We're playing well in like three or four games.

That's it. Now former GM Chris Ballard, the Ballard of the ball, no more. Ballard was horn swagled and bamboozled and taken to the cleaners. That guy couldn't find a quarterback. If you put you put Joe Montana, Tom Brady, all these legends in front of him, he wouldn't be able to find him.

He'd be like, no, no, no, I don't want those. I want John Kittena. Well, no, you want the good? No, I don't want those guys. I want John Kittena.

So he was excommunicated as a direct result of Daniel Jones. And here's the most damning indictment I can say about the situation in Indianapolis. And it is a damning indictment of all. Anthony Richardson is so far underground. Forget six feet underground.

He's further than six feet underground. All right. I mean, he is so far in the doghouse for Shane Steichen and the Colts that they'd rather play Daniel Jones who has played himself into a benching. They would rather continue to play him than put Anthony Richardson out there. And because he quit, Anthony Richardson's a quarter.

But yet the Colts don't have the balls to just release and trade him. It's a very odd situation because they don't want to play him because they know the guys are quitter yet they didn't release him and they haven't traded him. Of course, who we trade for? It's a mess. I mean, he's paying property taxes down there in the doghouse.

Anthony Richardson in Indianapolis, my god, that blind loyalty on the road to unemployment for Shane Steichen, who can be your offensive coordinator next year. If you need an offensive coordinator, I guess you can go back to the Chargers and be in the OC for the Chargers. Now, last thing, to the trade market, we go where we stay with the Colts running back, Jonathan Taylor facing a lot of speculation about his future. And he's got a two year, $44 million contract extension. He signed with Indianapolis.

However, his wife, his wife has entered the chat. That's right. A player's wife making headlines. That would be Iana Taylor suggesting her husband's future is uncertain following Chris Ballard being whacked as the GM in Indianapolis post game. Jonathan Taylor was asked about his wife's, I guess, TikTok and commenting about his status.

And it was very bizarre because Jonathan Taylor's wife talked about we and like, made it seem like she was playing for the Colts. Anyway, here is Jonathan Taylor reacting. I saw your wife shared a video on Instagram, which is what are about you and your future. How do you feel about that being out there? And do you have any type of response to that?

I think it's been out there already. So I've been hurt. And it doesn't really change anything. You know, everybody's going to TikTok these days. So you know, we just have to come into work as TikTok is.

I'm not on TikTok. So I'm either. Yeah, cool sign on TikTok. Lorena, you want to take talk? I have it, but I don't use it.

OK, so there's two people definitely not on it and a third that doesn't use it. So not everyone's on TikTok. All right, question. Did Jonathan Taylor's wife help or hurt help or hurt his situation with the Colts? That's the question.

What's the answer? So the question is she helped if the goal is to be traded as soon as possible. Ayana Taylor has apparently decided to launch a sports talk radio career. She does not have a job at a radio station, but she's doing hot takes. And aren't those fun?

Everyone loves hot takes. I've been in the hot take business a long time. It's a great business. All these ex jocks want to do it. Players wives want to do it.

The hot take. It's so fun. It really is. Everyone loves their hot takes. Now, when she said we, her quote was we have been on the team for seven years.

I was like, who's going to tell her? Who's going to be the one to say, you know, you're not actually on the roster. You're just along for the ride. All right. So who's going to tell her?

So the word we doing a lot of heavy lifting, a lot of heavy lifting with Mr. Taylor's wife there. We so apparently being married to a football player now qualifies as a seven year period of NFL service time, I guess. She's talking like she's taking an ice bath after practice. The whole thing.

She's got all that down and still I on the tail of the wife of the Colts running back there. She is really doing the Lord's work and that makes my way because she's creating content. The Colts are unwatchable. They're absolutely die, die, die, that's the Colts. That's a bad team and bad effing team and Jonathan Taylor's wife there.

She is doing the Lord's work and she's entering the transfer portal on behalf of the entire family. Now, the reason I said this will help expedite a trade for Jonathan Taylor. It is the kind of self inflicted, cringe inducing commentary that makes the people that work inside those NFL buildings want to chew aluminum foil like it's bubble gum and blow bubbles with the aluminum foil. It is the Ben Mallor show. If you'd like to comment on any of this, you can join us right now and anything we haven't talked about the Chiefs got punked by Seattle.

One of the games I was a Sunday night game last night, not a very good game. We're better games on Sunday, but any of these things we'll be happy to talk about. You're a team. Give us a buzz. Something we've been missing.

Hi, I'm Bill Parcels. And I'm Catherine Zazzora. I have a lot of experience in the game of football, Catherine. And I'm learning the game with Bill's help. Every week we're going to talk about the NFL slate through the lens of Bill's expertise as he coaches me from novice fan to football expert over the course of the season.

You know, I'm looking forward to this show, Catherine, and hopefully we can give our audience a little in-depth look into the inner sanctum of football that they can't get anywhere else. Tune in every Thursday for unfiltered stories from Coach Parcels. I'm a senior at the NFL state of the modern game, and education on how football really works. Continuity is very important, but what happens when you get good coaches on your staff and people begin to recognize them, then they want to hire them. And then you can't stop a guy from trying to improve himself, but you have to replace them.

Because once you understand what's going on inside the mind of the coaches, you'll understand more about the whole game. So all aspects can be discussed. The only thing I haven't done, because I didn't have enough money, I don't own the team. I never owned a team. Unwalter Eigson hosted the new podcast, The Builders. Right now, we're living through an AI arms race. So I went directly to the people shaping that future. Elon Musk, Dario Ominet, Alex Carr, Fafey Lee, Omar Luckie, because I wanted to understand what the most consequential builders believe, what they fear, and where they think this is all headed. Silicon Valley is always saying the cliché thing about the way to predict the future is to create it.

Well, yeah, it's up to us. But when you say us, who's us? Is it 400 people that you know in Silicon Valley? Is it me down here in New Orleans? They're brilliant, controversial, and they're already shaping the future.

The question is, who's imagination do we want to live in? This is going to determine the fate of nations and economies and the future of humanity. You're an architect of the world. You're very kind. I appreciate that. So that's what I want to say. Well, thank you.

Right. Kind. How's your daytime job, Mason, sold out? I know. I know.

I sold out for the dreaded day shift. But we lost him. Yeah. I wish I was able to tune in more to the live show. I really do wish I could.

But you know, it's not that amazing. I'll tell you that. You know, it's not all that's cracked up to be guys. You don't get to hear Ben Malley in the middle of the night. And you're working kind of crappy hours.

And you got to wake up early and stuff. It's not fun. I hear you. I hear you. Well, listen, I'm glad you're doing all right, though, Mason.

And one of these meetings. I will at some point do one in the Bay Area. I've been saying that for years. But you guys. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. I'll be there. I'll be there. I'll be there.

I'll be there. I'll be there. I'll be there. I'll be there. I'll be there.

I'll be there. I'll be there. Hey, wait, wait. Can this be the part where I talk about the Broncos? Oh, you're new.

Bronco propaganda here. Go ahead. No. Well, I actually genuinely want to ask you what your assessment is of the Broncos offense and how they're winning almost in spite of Bonix. Is that due to Hayden?

What is that? What is that? Oh, it's nice that they're winning. I just much like the Vikings. I just don't think it's sustainable.

Did you watch the game yesterday, Mason? In spite of Bonix? Do you see the 62 yard touchdown run? Who the hell is that? Because we know that'll happen again.

They'll run for 63 yards. Now that was an anomaly, Coop. Dude, I get it. I mean, Bonix did need a feel good game to get kind of his season right to get it going. So if he can.

That's right. He's going to ball out from here on. OK. I want to do that. That's a good game.

I want to see that next. Coop is a Bonix truther. And he will overlook all the negative stuff. I'm a believer too. But I call it how I see it.

All right. Again, the Cardinals. The only thing that you play the Cardinals, the only thing that happens in Baresmen like when the Rams lost the Cardinals. You can't celebrate a win over the Cardinals. They're the Cardinals.

Exactly. All right. I got to go. Thank you, Mason. All right.

Thank you. Yeah. Great to have Mason the millennial. Let's go to the Dixter right now. He's got his Cleveland Brown shirt on.

He's fired up. The Bengals also won a great day in Ohio NFL football. And the one and only. Dick and Dayton, the legend. Hello, Dixter.

Welcome. Well, what a season the Browns are having and Watson. I just it's unbelievable. It reminds me back to the 70 era when Brian's like was there. The cardiac kids, aren't they?

Are you all in now? Are you believing that this is real? Oh, it's a dream. And a dream. But then I switched over.

Yeah. I couldn't believe Joe Burl. I think set a record yesterday. Yeah. Well, we had a touchdown every play in the second half.

They scored touchdowns on every drive to start to set up. It was crazy. Yeah. But you watch both game. I'm proud of you, Dick.

You watch both games. Look at you. You're big stud. Yeah. And you got all the social life.

You got all these things going on here. And you're still found to watch your football. It's great. Oh, yeah. You listen to the radio.

Because our buddy is an Andrew still doing the games on the radio. Andrew. Oh, he's a great announcer. You know, he's pretty good. Part of the alumni see who used to work here, Dick.

Back in the day. No, I talked to him a couple of times. He's he had to fill the shoes of a legend. It just so sad that Jimmy Donovan died like never Tamler. You know, it was this Jimmy.

I used to call. I don't know if I told you Monday night. They had the Fox Sports. You could call Cleveland. They should have talked to Jimmy Donovan, Doug Deacon.

And then back then was Tony Grozig. And I've talked to him a couple of times. He's a beat writer for the playing dealer. And he's it. But it's this good day in Ohio.

But I'm worried about the Buckeyes with that quarterback being hurt. You know, I want to see them go all the way in that big 10. But we've got. And you are more of a Buckeye fan or a Browns fan? Say more Browns.

Oh, really? OK. Yeah. Yeah. And everybody told me that they come and told my bosses here that they really, my cousin called me.

She thought it was she from Olmsted Falls. Her dad was a big Indian. So she called me and she taught the picture of me and Cincinnati was great. She liked it. Oh, she enjoyed that.

I got you. Night. Well, yeah, absolutely. It was a was a good time. Listen, we got everything's great.

Elsewhere you're feeling good. Your health is good. Yes. Yeah. I was saying.

All right. Well, thank you. Have a great day, everybody. Bye bye. Bye.

Dick and Dayton, where he goes. Only he knows. Let's say a little real quick. Don't have a lot of time. But we have Danny DeVito, America's favorite trash man from the Boston area.

Hello, Danny. Welcome. How you doing, Mr. Now what's going on? What's the sound of the streets and whatnot?

Yes. What's up? Yeah, so it was night, week. Well, I haven't heard that first in the city 3435. I forgot how old I was.

Thank you. Mr. 21 again. So happy birthday, Lorraine. Happy 21st.

Yeah. And it was happy birthday to her. And it was a great week then. And I want some money. But somebody, I was, you know, Saturday and Sunday event at Washington, it's not the bad trend.

It's a 3.3. I'm so tired of seeing, especially the lion's folks here at Danny Campbell. I mean, he's lucky yesterday, Ben. The tech is so bad. You know, he got lucky yesterday.

We could get a go, but you can kick the 3.5. You know, both things up. Well, it's a combination of things. You know, Danny, a lot of these teams have bad kickers. That's part of the problem.

And then you've got the nerds that are like, the numbers say you go for it. You don't kick the field goal. So you combine both those things. It is maddening that this happens on a regular basis. But how many missed field goals were there though?

Yesterday, I'm launching. There's a missed field goal. There's a tons of missed field goals yesterday. At one time, it was right with walking the lion again. Then it was fourth down and second step.

You ought to use one that gets really tight as a know that field strength up. So how about getting a field goal there? I don't disagree with you. I don't I would pick my spots on going for it on fourth down and the pendulum has swung way too far in the direction of Hey, let's let's not kick any fuel goals and the noise is really bad But any somebody let you go it is the Ben Mallor show the Ben Mallor show and if you would like to be part of the show Don't call right now because we are going to have the insta advice line unscrewed radio Who needs the advice the wisdom the knowledge of the Mallor militia?
