Bloomberg's Big Take podcast has everything you need to know about the most expensive midterms in US history, like the money being spent to control the Senate. Everyone is waiting to see how Trump will spend his big watch just to use sitting on nearly half a billion dollars. How candidates are rewriting their party's playbooks, and how big business is throwing its money into the ring. There is obviously the AI super PACs, which are two sides there, so they're spending some time on different sides of races, sometimes on the same side of races. Listen to Big Take on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.

The Heat is on, the head coach in Jerry's World Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer, who could have seen this one coming, being called out for his coaching ability is this inbounds or out of bounds. We will not mince our words on this one. Also, what is your perspective on the outrage over 49er owner, Jed York, and giant's owner, Steve Tisch, attending the owner's meetings, both of them in the taboo parts of the world. Also, Blake Griffin is grumbling. The lob city Clippers have not been honored by the team.
Where you at on this one, I guess Blake wants a cake and some balloons for failing to win as the lob city Clippers. That's a choice. We'll talk about all of this and more. We'll go zippity doo, zippity day. Here's hour number three.
Not easy. It is not easy being a cowboy. It certainly isn't easy being a coach in the cow was welcome in the beginning of another hour of the Ben Mallor Show. We are in the air every where fellow travelers in the audio world. I know.
I know. We paint you with the same brush. That's what we do. We're all the same here. Coast to coast, border to border, in, beyond, on the vast, wicked, powerful microphones of FSR emanating live from the room, the locker room to the living room.
That's right. Gare-on-teed human from the world famous Fox Sports Radio studios where legends like Greg, the real estate mogul from Baltimore, Kepatomic in Alaska, Jerry in a jar. They all agree that the Ben Mallor Show is an express ride, but it's really about express employment professionals, workforce challenges slowing down your business and express employment professionals provide workforce solutions to help reduce turnover, fund qualified talent, navigate compliance to build the right size workforce with more than 850 locations. We're told that's a lot. Express is ready to help.
Visit express pros.com. That's express pros.com. Lead story this hour out of Dallas. The Cowboys are bad. That's not a surprise.
They've been pretty mediocre for a while. Well, Cowboys, Brian, Shidenheim are getting called out for, among other things, is shawty, play calling, fourth down decision making, time out usage and just overall team preparation. Other than that, he's doing a hell of a job. So I don't know if you heard about this, maybe not. So the, some of the Dallas media, which typically are just fanboys for Jerry Jones, have turned on Brian Shidenheim.
Say what? Yes. Yeah. The calling shot number out as a liability rather than an asset coaching the Dallas Cowboys are off to a two and four start. The same record as the Rams.
What do you upset about? The Rams are the greatest team of all time. You all told me that. And the Rams are two and four. And the Cowboys have been mid pretty much across the board.
They're much worse than mid defensively. So that's a good jumping off point. Let us discuss the question. You got Cowboys coach Brian Shidenheimer getting put on astroblasters by some factions in the media here. Is this in bounds or is it out of bounds?
So I've got Jungle Cruise, the carousel at LAX and cucumber water. And we will combine all of these things together and we will be at loggerheads. We're going to be at loggerheads. So to lead off here using the NFL's own expedited review, the ruling on the field stands. Shidenheimer is not being unfairly criticized.
He is being accurately described. There is a difference on that. There is a difference. That's Brian Shidenheimer is a discount coach who is living up to expectations. You hire a discount coach.
You're like, okay, we'll get discount football. Sounds good. It's like the Cowboys are the NFL's version of a luxury cruise ship. You know, it's massive. You're seeing those big giant cruise ships.
It's like the size of a skyscraper out there on the Atlantic, but it's just giant ships, right? Massive luxury cruise ships. Just like that. Except he's being captained by somebody Jerry Johnson, some teenager he hired from Disney World who runs the Jungle Cruise. He drives the Jungle Cruise.
Well, he's really not driving the Jungle Cruise because it's on track and you're not really driving anywhere. But that's the thing. Shrati. What a perfect name. The Cowboys offense.
Shrati. They call themselves Gotti, but they're Shrati. The Gotti offense, greatest of all time, all that. The Cowboys offense, not in the top 10 right now. And the play calling about as mysterious as the McDonald's menu.
You kind of know what's on the McDonald's menu. Like everyone knows what's coming. The penalties have been contagious. And the game management for the Cowboys looks like a group project. And I know this was a very good student back in the day and all that.
So I got a radio. But it's like being in a group project and everybody thought somebody else was going to do the work. But it turns out there's usually one alpha that does all the work, the teacher's pad in a group project. In this case, there was none and nothing got done. The most amazing factoid that I've seen about the Cowboys, the disparity in salary and how Jerry Jones does not want to spend money on coaches.
So Jerry Jones is paying Brian Schott and I were about four and a half million. Which a lot of mine is if I made four and a half million, I call all my friends, I text everybody, I made four and a half million. It'd be like the richest guy or it'd be like the coolest thing, right? Four and a half million. It turns out though that that salary for Brian Schott andheimer is almost exactly the same.
Almost dollar for dollar. What Bill Parsels was making, which wouldn't be a problem if that wasn't 24 years ago. It's almost like Jerry Jones just running a radio company. You're not going to race. There's not much of pay my coach.
And that's it. And that's all. See you later. Like someone get Jerry Jones some metamucil. It's not fiscal responsibility for the Dallas Cowboys.
That is financial constipation. So you definitely need some metamucil there. Jerry bought a discount coach, bought a discount coach and he's getting discount results. It's not a shock. Only now people have come to the age of reason and they're like, okay, wait a minute, this is actually a problem.
This is not good. Who could have guessed that this would go the direction it's going? It's a shock. It's stunning that this, here we are a year and a half into this thing and people are like, well, wait a minute. Nobody else wanted to hire Brian Schott andheimer except the Cowboys.
And now the Cowboys are like, well, maybe we shouldn't have hired him. Furthermore, to the business of football, the business of football, a date line, meeting time, meeting time, 49ers owner, Jed York, he's back. But how did the Niners overcome the loss of Jed York? What a great third down receiver, Jed York is and one of the all time great tacklers on defense. So really a testimonial to the coaching of Kyle Shanahan that the 49ers had Jed York out on league suspension for the first six games.
It's surprising that they were able to win without having Jed York eating shrimp cocktails in a luxury box with some fluency. It's rather shock. So anyway, Jed York was there. He returned to the NFL owners meeting, served a six game suspension, paid a $500,000 fine. You might remember Jed York was arrested at a trailer park in East Palestine, Ohio.
He won a little hanky, panky with the local ladies there and got dinged on a prostitution related charge. He pled no contest. He won his Yankee shirt there, fled no contest to not one but two misdemeanors. So he got suspended. York apologized.
He called it a quote inexcusable mistake. Of course, he went out the back door, avoided talking to reporters at the NFL owners meetings like he could have avoided the cops back at that East Palestine trailer park. So he took off there. And now his return followed the fact that there's mentioned the Niners are six and all they're playing pretty good, not sustainable. But for now, I know Eileen and San Francisco's nodding her head.
Yes, it is not sustainable for now. Things are going well. Meanwhile, you also had Giants executive Steve Tisch who attended despite his situation not being adjudicated yet. And you might remember Steve Tisch ending up in the tabloids and in some really dark places. He had a well documented buddy, buddy relationship with the infamous Jeffrey Epstein.
Yeah, Epstein Island. This guy was all about it. According to the internet and the Giants owner was hooked up with some of the ladies there from Jeffrey Epstein. According to, yeah, he enjoyed that quite a bit. So this of course created a social media firestorm and it's like, Oh my God, this is ridiculous.
What happened to standards for the owners and all this? So the question, what is your perspective? Give me your perspective on the outrage, the outrage of the 49ers, Jed York and the Giants Steve Tisch, these owners attending the NFL owners meeting and people up in arms. So I'm going to answer a question with a question. What did you expect the owners meetings to look like?
Did you think it was going to be like a Friday night church pot luck? Is that what you were expecting? Like this I hate to tell this just in. This is not the Vatican. Nobody's electing a new pope.
It's not happening. They're gathering these owners meetings are like, how much money do we make on television? How much more money can we make? How can we take people's money who are in like France and England and we'll go to Japan at some point in Mexico? How can we get these people's money?
Like the guy that the guys who own the shield, the people that are the gatekeeper of the shield and the custodians of the shield, all that stuff, all those big terms that people use to own sports names. Like these guys show up with enough baggage to shut down the carousel at LAX. That's how much baggage they have. They've got more skeletons than the haunted mansion at Disneyland. It's wild.
And Jed York now he did service punishment having to stay at his mansion and hang out with his other rich friends. Difficult. Steve Tisch, they're different on that because he hasn't been punished. He hasn't technically vile. I don't know.
He's been charged with anything. I mean, nobody that whole Epstein thing, all those powerful people got away with it. Whatever they were doing for the most part. And Roger Goodell who loves to have the NFL give you all these slogans on the back of helmets on the field, they're going to solve all the world's problems. Mr. Integrity, he's on this integrity crusade, Roger Goodell.
And of course the owners have an exemption so they don't have to worry about morality and money, money, money. Now we do know from just living life that money does not buy good judgment. It just buys really good attorneys. So you can make the same crooked decisions that poor people make when you're rich, you can hire a really good law firm that'll clean up your mess. The NFL loves to preach about accountability.
Big word for the NFL. But when the check signers are involved, they discover the healing power of selective outrage. They love the selective outrage there. And so the owners, when they have a scandal, it's just a temporary hiccup. It's an inconvenience between yacht vacations in the south of France.
If you really want to punish owners, no one ever listens to me. If you really want to stick it to the aristocrats, the robber barons or the NFL, what do you do? You take away their private planes. You make them fly commercial on frontier airlines, middle seat next to the bathroom, two fat people surrounding them. That's what you do.
And every flight you take, whether you're going to Paris or you're going to some tropical vacation to the Bahamas, you've got to take frontier airlines, middle seat, two fat people next to the bathroom. And that's it. Until then, forget about it. It's the National Football Loop Hole situation. If you're a owner, that's a National Football Loop Hole.
That's what that NFL thing means if you're a big high-felute owner. All right. Last thing, we got to go back to Pro Bouncy Ball. Kyle sent me this story. I'm very upset that I did not mention it.
He previous episode. I think this just happened though. So I don't know how I could have known this. I don't think it's an old story. I believe it's a new story.
I believe it's a new story. I'm a Kyle's all upset. You're such a house man, which I don't think I'm a house man. I ripped the teams I like. If they don't play well, unlike a lot of you fanboys, I'll trash them.
I'll trash the Rams. I don't care. Take apart the Dodgers. And this is about the Clippers. So Kyle's upset we didn't mention.
Blake Griffin apparently is annoyed that the people's team, the Clippers, have never invited the legendary quote, lob city, close quote, players back for a formal celebration. Celebrate good times. So he's upset about this. He said quote, I don't think we've ever been asked to come back or do anything or honor that team. Blake Griffin, Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan with those hammer dunks part of the group that turned the Clippers franchise around and transformed them from tomato cans to a perennial playoff team in the NBA.
And it was all because of that lob city team Griffin criticizing the franchise yet again where we seen that before and raising questions about the organizational loyalty and the fact that they don't honor the franchise legends. All right. So the question here, you've got Blake Griffin who is grumbling. The lob city teams have not been honored by the Clippers. Where you at on this one?
All right. So after a brief deliberation of the available information, we have reached the point in American civilization, the sporting world, big sporty, big sporty, as we call it. We've reached the point where entitled former professional athletes expect a standing ovation for almost winning something. In this case, it's not even almost winning something. Chris Paul and Blake Griffin have spent years treating the Clippers like a toxic ex.
It was a hostile relationship throwing rocks. And now they want the toxic ex, in this case, the Clippers to throw them a nice anniversary party with a cake and balloons. They'd like nice frosting on the cake if that's possible. The audacity, the absolute audacity. And this is the participation trophy industrial complex coming to professional basketball.
And while I enjoyed the lob city Clippers, it was great to see that team and they were the most exciting team to watch in the NBA. They turned out not to be the top team because they didn't win, but they were more exciting than any other team in that era of the NBA. And so now you look at them and these guys, most of them, I think the Andre Jordan still playing somewhere, but most of these guys are long gone from the NBA. And those lob city guys should rebrand instead of lob city. It's song city.
What a song story. Whoa, Blake Griffin wants a spa day. He wants a spa day once we put on a pedestal manicure and a pedicure, a mannequin penny, cucumber water, got to have the cucumber water, hot stones and complimentary championship rings made out of play dough. Why not? And that team, that lob city team had all the town now granted they did not have a good coach, Doc Rivers, terrible coach, but they had all the town, all the hype, the hyperbole was to the moon.
A lot of publicity as well, obviously hyperbole and publicity go together. And yet they didn't even make the final four. They may, they should have made the final gag against the rockets in one of those years, but the Clippers did not make the final four with the lob city team. So I don't have a problem with the Clippers, not honoring them. In fact, I kind of like the fact they don't retire numbers.
They don't do all that bull crap like a Lakers do because they're like, there's never once since Kobe spent a while. Nobody talks about that. And they do all that hokey, Jersey retirement. You spent five minutes with the Lakers, get your number of theirs and bears like the Yankees. I'm fine with you.
I'm going to like time achievement award for making the second round. You know, forget the Chicago version. It's like running with the bulls in Pamplona. Like the plate griff in these guys. Well, yeah, we did it.
It's like running with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain. And yet you left out the part, live by omission where you reportedly, not reportedly, I saw it, I witnessed it. You repeatedly got gored in the face by the bulls while you were running in Pamplona. So the lob city Clippers, they don't need a reunion ceremony. I recommend some group therapy.
Check. I don't have offer up still around. They should have seen call offer up because I don't know if that's around. But there's got to be some kind of way you get a discount on the group therapy for the sob city Clippers back in the day. It is the Ben Mallor show as we move on.
We'll take your calls 877-99 on Fox. That's 877-99-66369. It's a big hour. Take your calls straight ahead. We have the riddle of the day too much or not enough and the queen of hearts with Lorraine of this hour.
Here's the Mallor riddle of the day. And here it is a fan named Derek, a random fan named Derek went viral this week. He attended the raise closeout win to win the American League pennant. And after that happened, I was during that happened. During that happened.
He was publicly placed during that game. He was publicly placed in the blank during the game. So a fan named Derek went viral, attended the raise closeout game in the American League Championship series. And during that game, he was publicly placed in the blank. That is the Mallor riddle of the day.
The answer will get to it. We'll do it next. Be sure to catch live edition. So the Ben Mallor show weekdays at 2am Eastern 11pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the I Hard Radio app. Fox Sports Radio is taking over YouTube and you can be a part of it.

We decided to start a golf comedy podcast because we're both big golf lovers and we wanted to spread that joy and it's called Three Putte Bogey. It's coming from the perspective of golfers who are sometimes good enough to hit two great chats in a row, but almost never good enough to hit three. And a Three Putte Bogey is kind of the purest expression of that. Every golfer knows what that's like. Obviously, we're going to talk a lot about the game of golf, how absurd it is and how fun it is and how vexing and frustrating.
But more than anything, just how much we love the greatest game in the world. We love it anyway. We're putting these out every Friday morning for your weekend golf routine. This is a show about sharing our experiences on the golf course and how absurd and funny they can be. And that's what Three Putte Bogey is.
It's Three Putte Bogey everybody out every Friday. You can listen to it now on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Bloomberg's Big Take podcast has everything you need to know about the most expensive midterms in US history, like the money being spent to control the Senate. Everyone's been waiting to see how Trump will spend his big work just to be sitting on nearly half a billion dollars. How candidates are rewriting their party's playbooks?
You have El Saidid, who's a former health official, giving rise to a lot of the economic populism. I'm wondering where you see this sort of definition of the working class going from here. Well, it's essentially now everyone, right? 50% of college educated workers can sort themselves working class 50% of high earners do. And how big business is throwing its money into the ring?
Gambling, super PACs, sports betting companies, there is obviously the AI super PACs. Don't just witness history and fold, understand it. They redistrict in Texas where the Mac Daddy and his gun backfired. Catch the Big Take podcast every weekday and tune in Wednesdays for the latest on the midterms. She'll give out relationship advice, stock market advice, geopolitical advice, whatever you need. She's one of the answers right there. She's right over there. Every all the answers right over there. Every all the all the ends.

Some fan named Derek went viral. He attended the race, closed out and went in the Alcs. He went viral after he was publicly placed in the blank at that game. That is the question. What is the answer?
All right. OG Art Puffin says Derek was publicly dissed like a beach. He says poor, poor Derek. What do we have a publicly placed in the cash cube from Ocho, Texto? What else?
A page down in the Marconi club. That is from Alph, the alien old piner. That is a believe what was that the Marconi winner there? I worked at that station when they went to Marconi back. That's from Alph.
Late night drug test, he was placed within shouting distance of Dick Vital. JT the wingman says the team's money chamber. Michael and Tulsa says he was in the octagon with a Mexican wrestler. What else? The verbal octagon, the Ben Mallor Schover, the property on Mallor prop guy, the raised tank in center field, prison from courtesy flusher, a house of pizza from filler up fill, the dirty jock strap basket from monkey biz dog.
That's his answer. All right. Do you have an answer? La Raina. Maybe it's basic, but I thought he was placed in the corner.
In the corner? Okay. Not the corner. The corner. Yes.
I got you. No. The correct answer. A fan named Derek, he went viral. He tended to raise clothes out when he went in the ALCS.
He went viral. He was publicly placed in the friend zone on the Jumbotron. We assumed the lady that he was with got a little uncomfortable. She posted. We assumed to check, but who knows?
He might be gay. I don't know. But whoever posted this put on the score, we put messages on the score board and this person, we think it's a check. It got to be a check, right? I wrote Derek.
Thanks for the ticks. And it's got a big muscle on my own games. I'm sorry, but I think we should just stay friends. Oh, body blow, body blow, body blow. Oh, friend zone.
She might as well just chop the guys balls off. Friend zone. What are you doing? Holy crap. Terrible.
Trying to impress the lady I assume there to go to the game and then she on the scoreboard. Now, she didn't say his last name, so we don't know who that is and maybe it's all a gag, but it was on the screen shot. I smell the phones. And here's a name we don't normally see in Dallas. We say hello to Butterfingers.
Hello Butterfingers. Welcome. Hey, Ben. How you doing? I'm a big fan of the Butterfinger.
Very controversial. It sounds delicious right now. Butterfingers are soft. Yeah, it is good candy. Yeah.
That's where my handle came from. The candy bar, but you're talking about collectibles earlier. I've got a whole freaking ag flow of NASCAR, little cars and match marks and stuff that somebody could buy and make some money off of. Yeah. Are you going to sell it or are you going to get it graded?
I like it. I mean, you got to find the guy that wants to buy him. NASCAR went downhill and Dale Earnhardt died, but other than that. That's a long time ago. I'm talking about your K.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It was like Marlboro stuff and all that.
Yeah. Yeah. Winston. Winston. That's back up.
I mean, you're at the camel, right? Yeah. Our J Reynolds. That was who owned it all right there. All that money.
Now they own big food companies. Yeah. So anyway, it's what you could do Butterfingers is when the car show comes through Dallas, you just go there and you try to find somebody to buy it, but they're going to screw you. They're going to stick it to you. Oh, I'll never get the money back.
It's been just sitting up there. I got them all in the boxes and I opened and all that. Yeah. Not here. Just finding the right guy that wants them.
The cowboys will never do any good with the Jones family there because now they got Steven Jones coming next. And he's just a big idiot. You know, Gary is. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree as though in this case. That's right.
I got you. All about the money, brother. Thank you for having a good one. Thank you. The great Butterfingers.
Everyone enjoy Butterfingers. I thought he just met me at slippery hands. Well, there's that too. Is that a hollering James is in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Hello, hollering James.
Oh, man. You took me to soon. I'll play. All right. I'll put you on hold.
I can't. I got some. You're not. You always play James. You always play.
I got to let somebody else play James. You can't Bogart the game. There's somebody else that wants to play. All right. That's where you came.
I didn't say that. I said, I said, that's the only game that you're allowed to play. Oh, yeah. Now, James, you became famous, as you know, even though you were unaware at the time of winning the game while fast asleep. That was your claim to fame.
It's the first time ever in the history of the show. And I think in the history of radio, someone has won a game show while fast asleep. Sleep is all day. Sleep is all night. Take your pills in the morning.
Take your pills in at night. Let's play the game. Here we go. Hit that button right there. Game show time.
Two seconds. Two seconds. Two seconds. One more second. And away we go.
Let's walk it in. Our contestant, Mushta this May of Hollering James, we say hello to Alex, who is in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the Keystone State. Hello, Alex. Welcome. Hello, bad.
You mean Lancaster, Pennsylvania, not Liana, Castor. All right. So you're still a schmuck. That's good. And here we go.
It's amazing here. Do you want to play the game? Are you prepared? Are you ready? I'm more than ready.
All right. Good because I'm not. I don't have the question. So we're just going to kill some time here. I'm just going to work with you.
Our printer will be malfunctioning. I hear it. I'm glad to know that you got out of jail. Oh, that's cool. Good to see that.
I was never in jail. That's what somebody that wasn't jail would say. All right. Here we go. Question number one.
Alex, you want to tell the people listening in Shaboygan what you do for a living? I deliver red baron pizza. I pressure towards here. Very specific. Red baron pizza.
Very specific. Yep. Is there any kind of sweet in my Walmart open up here so I can make a delivery? Gotcha. The Walmart needs their red baron pizza.
I haven't been to a Walmart in so long. Really? I don't know. I think I prefer Target. I like the discounts.
That's what I like. Do you love a good discount? Yeah. It's like I'll deal with the lighting. I'm not moving into the store.
I'm just there to buy stuff. And that's it. All right. Here we go. Since entering the NBA, Victor Wembanjama has 50 games with five or more blocks.
Is that too much or not enough? I would have to say that's not enough. That's correct. Yes. 55 games with five or more blocks.
That is more than second, third and fourth combined. Question two. You're off to a good start. There are only five players with more career three-pointers. And Paul George.
Is that too much or not enough? I have to say too much. You're wrong. Terrible answer. That W.
Not enough. There are seven players with more career three-pointers than PG-13, the steroid guy. Question number three. You can do it. The baron.
For Alex, he's delivering pizza to a Walmart in Pennsylvania, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Here we go. Question three. Kenneth Wallster. No shop.
I say how I want to say. Kenneth Walker has more multi-touchdown games than seven NFL teams this season. The Chiefs running back. Is that too much or not enough? You got to get two more questions right.
Alex, the red baron. Not enough. All right. Let's find out. I'm sucking this game.
The answer is too much. He has more multi-touchdown games than five NFL teams, Vikings, Browns, Titans, Bucks. And all one give up right now. Should we keep going? You're getting killed here.
It's really bad. I didn't hear no bell. This is one of the worst performances we've ever had. You're embarrassing all of Pennsylvania right now. Do you want to quit the game or keep going?
I didn't hear no bell. Ring the bell. There's the bell. All right. We'll keep going.
Alvin Kamara. Who that is? Yeah, it's the running back. It's gonna fade. Alvin Kamara is the ninth player in NFL history with 5,000 or more rushing yards and 5,000 or more receiving yards to stay alive.
Alex, is that too much or not enough? Too much. Let's find out. Oh, my God. Stay alive.
A miracle. A miracle has happened. Last question. Question five. Don't choke Alex.
Two weeks ago, against the Dolphins was Joe Burrough's seventh career game with four or more touchdown passes. Is that too much or not enough for the win or the loss on this question? Alex waiting to deliver red-barren pizzas at a Walmart in Pennsylvania. Not enough. Let's find out.
Sometimes good things happen to bad callers. Congratulations. I'm kidding. Congratulations, Alex. You are a winner, which unfortunately means I have to give you a good.
I'm gonna take it. I'm sure I will regret it. Congratulations there, Alex, and enjoy your day. Thank you, sir. All right.
There you go. There's Alex where he goes. Only he knows. We are moments away from the Queen of Hearts. I have plenty of questions, but I want good questions.
So send those in hashtag. Dig deep. Yeah, hashtag. Down to the very pits of the you know where. You know what I'm saying?
Queen of Hearts. Hashtag. Queen of Hearts. And we'll get to that. And we will do it next.

I'm Walter Isaacson, host of the new podcast, The Builders. Right now, I'm living through an AI arms race. So I went directly to the people shaping that future. In one must, Dario, Hominay, Alex Scott, Fei-Fei Lee, Omar Lucki, because I wanted to understand what the most consequential builders believe, what they feel, and where they think this is all headed. Silicon Valley is always saying the cliche thing about the way to predict the future is to create it.
Well, yeah, it's up to us. But when you say us, who's us? Is it 400 people that you know in Silicon Valley? Is it me down here in New Orleans? They're brilliant, controversial, and they're already shaping the future.
The question is, who's imagination do we want to live in? This is going to determine the fate of nations and economies and the future of humanity. Listen to the Builders on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or every Get to Podcast. Hey, everybody. I'm Chuck Ryan at the Stuff You Should Know Podcast.
And I'm Adam Pranica of the Greatest Generation and Greatest Trek. We decided to start a golf comedy podcast because we're both big golf lovers and we wanted to spread that joy and it's called 3-Putt Bogey. It's coming from the perspective of golfers who are sometimes good enough to hit two great chats in a row, but almost never good enough to hit three. And a 3-Putt Bogey is kind of the purest expression of that.
And that's what 3-Putt Bogey is. It's 3-Putt Bogey, everybody out every Friday. You can listen to it now on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. The talent is insane, and the personalities are giving main character energy. And of course, the fans love it. But 30 years ago, when the league first started, it was a different story. I remember sitting with a couple of male writers all whining about, oh, what are they gonna do with the break of now? No one's gonna show up.
I knew that rivalry was going to be amazing from the beginning. I'm Kerry Champion, and this is Biggest Rivalries of all time, season two. The New York Liberty versus the Houston comments, the very first rivalry of the WNBA. They picked us a finish last, and they picked us a finish first. That's all you need to know.
I remember looking around thinking this is going to change things. Basketball was going to have this fundamental impact on the way people viewed women athletes. Thank you. Thank you. We sure do love love and it's holiday season time, which is the best time to be in a relationship. So if you're thinking about asking someone else. No, wait, wait, wait, wait.
I thought guys, I said, you dump the girlfriend before. No, after Halloween, but before Thanksgiving. And then you get back together and get back together and get back together and a cheapo. I'm just saying, like that was always the move, right? For do you, you get rid of the girlfriend right after Halloween.
Oh, holiday season is when you take your girl home for the first time and introduce a family. Exactly. And then you bring them back in January. It's like your anti love. I care for love.
Okay. All right. I'm just saying, I'm just pointing that out. And now Halloween, you keep the girlfriend for Halloween because the women of hijack Halloween and turn it into like the catwalk with his little clothing is possible, which is what has happened with it. All right.
I saw the funnest couple costume yesterday. I got to tell you about it really fast. It was a guy and he's dressed kind of normal, but his girls are pinata and he like smacks her with a stick and candy falls out. Oh, okay. All right.
I thought you were somewhere else. I didn't know. Okay. OG Art Puffin writes in for the co- by the way, thanks to Milkman Mike and Jay Schoop who put it together. Best song ever.
I love it. It's a really, really good deal. OG Art Puffin says is proposing at a professional sporting event romantic or is it a high pressure trap that should be banned from the OG Art Puffin? Well, hopefully you know your woman when you propose. And if, uh, if you think that that would be overwhelming for her, don't do that proposal.
If they do like extravagant gestures, I think that's a great one. And I would let the stadium know beforehand so that they can do the camera to you and maybe have the mascot behind you. If you're real fans, you know what I'm saying? All right. That'd be cool.
Next up, Sensei, uh, Sensei Funder Fist. Sensei. I'm sure that's his real name. Would a chair look like Lorena if your knees bent in the opposite directions? Great question.
Wait. Oh my gosh. I've never thought about that. Oh, this guy's smoking weed. Are my knees backwards or my hips backwards?
Cause that would be, if you're, yeah. Cause my knees, my feet would still hang the same, but my feet would be in a different direction. If you think your knees bent inward and if they bent, yeah. But I think the chair wouldn't have to change very much cause that's happening underneath the chair. It would have to be your hips.
So if your hips were backwards, then yeah, the chair would be different. All right. Um, Mike, right. So he says, is it true, a true sign of love if your girlfriend trims your long, stinky toenail fungus and all. It is.
I'm not sure. My first baby daddy. I actually enjoyed it though because it's kind of like a pedicure. See that? You just answered Mike the leprechaun's question.
You think he's got Tofungus, Mike the leprechaun? He definitely has Tofungus. All right. What is a good food bearing for this is from Wilte. What is a good food bearing for tequila?
Oh, tacos. Obviously. Oh, yes. I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I love this question. Wow.
You got to do it one, one, one, one, one, one, two, one, two, one. Dude. All I know isocomfortably chister but I love Slash. Okay. Well, listen to some of the other comments.
I lovecat Druid. Yeah. Yeah. So they say what do you want to do? Hey, Luating.
Um. And you know, we're gonna make this guess for the other guysarm. store around as one. I said I'm a dirty photo. I kind of do on the cruise.
I always take toys. Toys are a great thing to take on cruises. He's going to take his Hot Wheels with him. So they'll just take him to Hot Wheels. Hot Wheels all day, baby.
All right. Let's see. Shane in a voice says, do you or your ex's snore? That's from Shane in Des Moines. And so I want to know about the snoring habits.
Yes. I don't snore unless I'm pregnant or sick. But I have dated a couple guys who snore really. And I actually kind of find it soothing. It kind of puts me to bed, actually.
It's not too bad. Most people like that. Mike writes, he has emailed and Mike from Texas. He says, Lorena, is it true if a woman is a man in the friend zone, he is unattractive? No.
Not true at all. Not true at all. Yeah. I think it's true. I agree with this guy.
I can't tell you how many attractive men I've put in the friend zone. Yeah. We just don't get along like that. You know? Like I don't want you to know.
All right. Michael, tell us a cat or dog. Get her dog. Good answer. Good answer.
Solid answer. You win. That's always spray me. I'm allergic to cats. I don't know.
I'm a dog person. I like dogs. This is an eye-heart podcast. Guaranteed human.
