This is an iHeartPuckist. Guaranteed Human. I'm Walter Isaacson.
I'm Walter Isaacson. On my new podcast, The Builders, I'm going inside the minds of the people shaking our future. Listen to the Builders starting October 13th on the iHeartRadioApp Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcasts. You're a biologist, I don't. What is the value of these women?
I'm Richard Armstrong. Back with season two of the podcast, Curse of Miss America. We're talking to participants, whistleblower, and people who say Miss America didn't live up to their promises. He looks at me and goes, you don't look like these suffer the meeting disorder. I never received scholarship money to pay for my student loans.
Maybe this is a meta question for the podcast. What is Miss America at this point? Listen to the curse of Miss America on the iHeartRadioApp Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcasts. There are thousands of podcasts that can tell you how to better yourself. Yetwurst with Kyle Brew is not one of those podcasts.
So if you're interested in getting thinner, going to therapy, starting peptides and boundaries, taking supplements, making your bed getting closer, then I would humbly recommend other podcasts. If you're interested in blackmail, love, bomb, and cloning yourself or getting revenge, then we've got a little something, something for a dastardly individual like you. Listen to Yetwurst with Kyle Brew on the iHeartRadioApp Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcasts. So most media is either a gender-driven or they're so shallow. And boring!
You don't learn anything anyway. We try to get to the bottom of the stories that are shaping our worlds and help you understand what's actually happening. So give it a try sometime. Entertaining and you learn something? Where do I do this?
Listen to iHeartRadioApp Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcasts. That's baseball, Susan. Boom! Shaka-laka. It's our number three.
We got you covered the World Series. Begins tonight in Wisconsin. And we looked at the match up and was one name that popped up. Does Jacob Mizorowski have more pressure on his shoulders than any other player in this Brewers Reyes World Series? We'll discuss that as he is the biggest name, biggest star in this thing.
Do you believe that Dodgers will listen to columnist Bill Plasky and consider trading away Show Hail Tani? Hey, we'll talk about that. And how much stock do we give Scott Boris advertising the super agent? Really advertising and advising majorly baseball teams to spend on free agents before the shutdown begins in early December. His words will be parsed right about now.
We also have Big Men's Lane Jokes of the Week, our friend, Weed Man Hippie, absolutely destroying a copy, a promo that we were reading. You'll hear that, likely the funniest joke of the lame jokes. But that's coming your way right now. Here it is, our number three. Have a wonderful Friday.
Well, I say it's a Starless World Series. That's not technically true. It begins later on. There's one angle, which is the most compelling angle to this particular event. What is it you're about to find out?
Welcome in the beginning of another hour of the Ben Mallor Show. We are in the air every way, right alongside as we keep our hands clean and our mouth dirty, coast to coast, border to border and beyond on the vast end. Genormously powerful, microphones of FSR emanating live from a vine, the grapevine, Garonteed human, on the world famous Fox Sports Radio studios where Judge Reed, our buddy from New Mexico and Albuquerque Bob, were big in New Mexico.
They say, hey, Mallor, where can I check out that world series thing? Well, Fox One, there's no time like October, and this is what it's all been for. The World Series is here. Stream it live on Fox One. It begins tonight.
The Brewers versus the Rays on baseball's biggest stage. You stream it live on Fox One. Check that out. Now, long, God, Larry, and out back John and Joanna from the San Gabriel Valley. They said, hey, I need to know more about Express.
I said, sure, I'll tell you about that. No problem. No problem. Can I get a blooming onion? Hey, workforce challenges slowing down your business.
The Express, employment professionals provides workforce solutions to help reduce turnover, find qualified talent, navigate compliance, and build the right-sized workforce with more than 850 locations expressed as ready to help. Is it expresspros.com today? That's expresspros.com. So our lead story this hour from the Fall Classic. It is on like Don't Get Calling tonight.
Now, I have taken some potshots of the World Series. Am I going to be watching? Absolutely. I'll be watching. I like baseball.
I don't have to watch Game One of the World Series. I don't have a show to do after the game. I just do a podcast on the weekends. We don't normally talk sports on the podcast. So I don't have to conceivably watch the game, but I'm going to watch it.
I don't want to see what happens there. Check it out. Do I care about you, these teams? Hell no. But I'll watch anyway.
So Brewers A's Jacob Mizaraski starts Game One of the Fall Classic against Tampa Bay's Nick Martinez. Now, if you look at this on a tablet, it is an epic mismatch. Martinez enjoyed a big year this year for Tampa Bay. He's a 36-year-old journeyman pitcher. He's been here there and everywhere.
The star attraction, and after crunching the numbers, the only star, pound for pound, is the Miz. That's it. That's all. So ahead of the Fall Classic, Jacob Mizaraski compared himself. He's asked a softball question at the media availability of the day.
And he compared himself to Charizard, the fire-breathing Pokemon. I saw this one, perhaps not. The 6'7 Miz did average over 100 miles per hour in his fastball here this past season, led baseball with 252 strikeouts. And so he is the star attraction. The Miz is in the center square in the World Series matchup.
And so that's a good jumping up point. Let us discuss the question. Does Jacob Mizaraski have more pressure on his shoulders than any other player in this Brewers-Rays World Series? So I've got the bearded lady, certified tree-huggers, and the sham-wow guy. And we will combine all of these things together every single one of these things.
And we are going to have the finishing touches, what we're going to have. So to lead off, I'm nodding my head. Yes, after a minute's long review, if you want the big boy spotlight in that business, it doesn't get any bigger than this. You cannot complain when the spotlight becomes an interrogation map. And this is a Starless World Series.
The Miz is the headliner. He's the breakout star. He's the guy, the real deal, and all that. Listen, you look around. Tampa Bay's got some guys that have some skill and all that.
They're not stars. They're not close to being stars. The Miz is on that path to start him. And welcome to the hardball circus. So you've got Jacob Mizaraski, who's the main attraction.
He's above the marquee. And he's right there. You've got the bearded lady, the sword swallower, and the human cannonball. All those things. All rolled into one 6'7 pitching machine in The Miz.
So he's either becoming a household name for casual. Now, every time I mentioned something like this before, a big series. I never really get someone that doesn't listen. The I don't listen guy. And the I don't listen guy will inevitably email me.
No, Mel, he's already a household name The Miz. People know who he is. And I'm like, OK, yeah. The hard old baseball people know who he is. The World Series is supposed to be in theory.
It's on Fox, right? It's supposed to be you're going across the Rubicon into people that aren't hardcore baseball fans. I don't know how many hardcore non-hardcore baseball fans are going to watch the World Series. It does well, because there won't be baseball for a while, because of the work stoppage and the billionaires and the millionaires fighting with each other. I'm pulling for it to do well.
Do I think it's going to do well? No, I don't. I hope I'm wrong. I hope I'm wrong. So again, this is the opportunity for The Miz to become a household named for casual baseball fans.
Or the opposite in the multiverse is this becomes a cautionary tale. And he goes out there and rides the vomit comet. And there really is no middle ground. He's the guy walking the tight rope over Niagara Falls. And one bad slider and one guy going ding dong junior cabin arrow taking seven minutes around the bases.
And all of a sudden, The Miz is going swimming in Niagara Falls. Now they say legends are born in October. That used to be the slogan of baseball. Legends are born in October. They also die here.
You get kudos. Ask Clayton Kershaw. All right, Clayton Kershaw, you wouldn't want anyone else on the mound in a game on a Wednesday afternoon against the Rockies Giants Diamondbacks at Padres and Clayton Kershaw. You would want anyone else on the mound when Kershaw was pitching in October, the greatest choke artist of modern baseball, the worst postseason pitcher of all time. And he was exposed as a fraud in October Clayton Kershaw.
He was. And so he had the opportunity. He didn't take advantage of it. A pitcher is not a legend because there are good regular season pitcher and television people tell us that guy's a legend. You've got to walk the walk.
You've got to walk the walk. And if the Miz goes out and dominates, he becomes Paul Bunyan. He becomes Paul F and Bunyan with an axe. If he goes out there and gets shell, thunderstruck, he becomes Paul Bart, mock up. That's when he's either Paul Bunyan or Paul Bart, mock up.
That's it. Now there is no time like October. And this is what it's all been for. The World Series is here. We're talking about it right now.
It's streaming live on Fox One, Brewers versus Rays. And there's really nothing left to save it for. Right? He's not left. What are you saving stuff for?
This is the biggest stage in baseball. The moment every team plays all season long for. Every pitch, every swing, every walk off. This is the history having live. And you don't want to catch it after the fact.
Catch the Brewers versus the Rays live on Fox One. There's no time like October. And there's no bigger stage than the World Series. And it is streaming live on Fox One. So check that out.
Me want a number of my Dodger homies have reached out to me. And they wanted me to rant and rave about something that Bill Plasky said. And I thought about it. I was like, well, Bill Plasky never writes a column about what we say. Why should I talk about what he says?
But this thing has had legs. If you don't know what I'm talking about, perhaps not. Bill Plasky, who was on that cheesy ESPN show, I forget what it's called, and it got canceled. Because they had too many woke people in there. Long time LA Times column is Bill Plasky.
And he argued this week Plasky that the D-O-D-G-E-R-S Dodgers should seriously consider trading show-how Tony. Plasky's argument is if he refuses to stop pitching, the Dodgers should trade it. He claims that the past season was proof that Tony can no longer handle full-time hitting and pitching. And so he said, listen, he wants the Dodgers to permanently remove what Tony from the mound and prioritize his offense. And Tony, the Dodgers say he's going to pitch again next year.
So this is Bill Plasky calling Tony, and he two-way ambitions a quote, detrimental charade, blows quote, and said a blockbuster trade must remain an option if he refuses to cooperate. So because of you requesting this, I will embrace this particular situation. The question, do you believe that the Los Angeles Dodgers are going to listen to Bill Plasky and consider trading away show-how Tony? Yeah, I believe that. Like they're going to get Plasky a corner office at Dodger Stadium and all the Dodger dogs he wants.
They're going to put his name on the door. They're going to let Bill Plasky run baseball ops between newspaper deadlines. You've got to be joking. Come on, I've known Bill for decades. And he's a very nice man, a casual friend.
And one of those people you run into, hey, how you doing? Bill, I'm doing good. OK, great. I'm doing OK. Solid, thank you.
OK, and you move on. But the Dodgers, obviously they're not going to listen to this. And by the way, let me point out, and I'm very proud of this. Because when I started in the media business back in the day, the King of Kings was the LA Times. My God was that a monster.
It was a monster. And after all these years, our little rinky dink overnight show has more influence than the LA Times. It blows my mind. Every time I think about that, I am blown away by that. And I realize it's more because the LA Times sucks, not anything we're doing.
But our little rinky dink overnight show at three or four in the morning has a bigger audience. We have more people listening than the LA Times has subscribers to their print circulation. How the mighty have fallen. Anyway, the Dodgers trading Otani would be like Starbucks announcing, you know, we're going to get out of a coffee business. We're done with coffee.
Good luck. Now we checked with the certified tree huggers. We contacted several certified tree huggers. And they tell us that Otani is not an oak tree, not a maple tree, not a great sequoia. He's a money tree.
Money, money, money. Every branch, every branch, $100 bills across as far as you can see. Now that said, in truth, it's a pretty good column. The whole job of a columnist, much like a talk to a host, is to be a rabble rouser and to stir the poo. And it's a sort of argument designed to provoke outrage, generate attention, make people realize the LA Times hasn't gone out of business, and make people ask whether the columnist is completely lost in the plot and all that.
The Dodgers have a better chance of moving back to Brooklyn than they do of trading shofail Tani. So they'll move to Tokyo before they move. Otani, that's the gig. And that's the way it is. Otani could go out there and bat 135.
And they'd say, well, it's a good decoy. It's a good decoy. All right, last thing. To the business of baseball, super agent Scott Boris is urging professional baseball teams to do what? Do you see this?
No? All right. Scott Boris urging the teams of professional baseball to sign free agents now before the lockout begins, and the new collective bargaining agreement is eventually signed. Boris argues that teams currently enjoy greater financial freedom than they might under the future labor rules. He said, quote, for many teams, this is quote from Scott Boris.
For many teams, I can make an argument. It's clearly best for them to sign players currently. Boris said, his message, spend now, secure that talent that you want and adjust to the new restrictions later. All right, question. How much stock do we give Scott Boris advising?
Major League Baseball teams to spend before a lockout. So I went and I looked at the stock thing on my phone because that was a little stock option thing. Every once in a while, I'll get a little gambling thing. I'll be gamble on the stock market. And I'll play around with that.
Generally does not go well. Generally does not go well. Anyway, so I looked, and zero is the answer. Asking Scott Boris whether teams should sign players in baseball is asking a real estate agent whether it's a good time to buy a house. The answer is always yes.
The answer is always yes. Scott Boris is selling urgency. That is the oldest sales tactic in America, if not the world. Limited inventory. Now operators are standing by.
Years ago, I read a pretty good book about infomercials. I was fascinated when I was a kid about infomercials. They're not really much around anymore. These late night TV commercials, they'd sell you car polish or a workout machine you don't need and all that. And I read about how they work the room and the tricks that they use and all that.
But the oldest sales tech is, oh, you have a clock on there and they have a clock on the screen. And a lot of people are hardwired to feel like they don't want to miss out on something. Even though you're not missing out on anything. And they see that run down clock getting close to zero. And they're like, oh, I better pick up the phone.
I'm sitting by the treadmill I don't need, right? By the Five Master I'm never going to use. Because it's limited inventory. You got to act now and all that stuff. Operators are standing by.
So Scott Boris is not exactly Paul Revere. Warning, the British are coming. The British are coming. Or even Israel Bissell, who actually did the hard lifting, not Paul Revere. This is a shameless infomercial masquerading as financial advice.
Scott Boris in this chapter, the super agent is the shamwow guy of baseball free agency. He is, but wait, there's more. It's like QVC for billionaires. Why the rush? Simple.
If you're Scott Boris, this salary. And Boris didn't say salary cap. There are going to be new restrictions. Now I believe in the end here, based on the people I've talked to around baseball, there'll be some guardrails added, not an actual salary cap. The players will not agree to that.
And there is a point that they have to get a deal done. But Boris sees a salary cap the way Dracula sees the sunrise. It's bad for business. The man is not trying to save baseball. That's not what he's trying to do.
He's trying to save the family business, protect the gravy train so he can enjoy that nice mansion. He lives in a Newport beach and all the people that work underneath him and all that stuff. And so I understand why he's doing it. It makes sense. But he's stunned of anyone.
No one's going to say why would you sign anyone between now and the 1st of December? Just I don't believe that's going to be a thing that happens. All right, it is the Ben Mallor Show. Now the cool thing about this hour, since we took no calls since our number one last hour was just Benny versus the penny, that means we reopened the phone lines. We reopened the phone lines.
And that means it's an opportunity for you to get in, kind of like the beginning of the show, which is the easiest time to get in. So take advantage of that. 877-99 on Fox. That's 877-99-66-369. And on X at Ben Mallor.
That's at Ben Mallor. Just try not to suck at the time you cannot suck. That's when you get on the air. You'll have a grand old time, a grand old time. Time now though for the Mallor, Riddle of the Day.
That's right, the Iowa. You're excited? I'm excited too. It's always fun. We look forward to the Mallor Riddle of the Day.
It's a fun thing. We do it every single day. It started because of Alff, the alien opiner, and Fergnog, who demanded the Mallor Riddle of the Day. And now it's a thing. So here's today's Riddle.
Milwaukee Brewer players will be wearing custom designed blank when they take the field in the World Series on Fox 1 on Friday night. Again, Milwaukee Brewer players will all be wearing custom designed blank when they take the field in the World Series starting here in Game 1 on a Friday night. That is the Mallor Riddle of the Day. You can answer that on X at Ben Mallor. That is at Ben Mallor.
We'll get to that and we will do it. Next. If there's a million times more digital intelligence
than there is biological intelligence, it's hard to imagine humans being in control in that scenario. I'm Walter Isaacson, host of the new podcast, The Builders. Right now, I'm living through an AI arms race. So I went directly to the people shaping that future. Elon Musk, Dario, Amine, Alex Scott, Faeffi Lee, Omar Lucky, because I wanted to understand what the most consequential builders believe, what they feel, and where they think this is all headed.
Silicon Valley is always saying the cliche thing about the way to predict the future is to create it. Well, yeah, it's up to us. But when you say us, who's us? Is it 400 people that you know in Silicon Valley? Is it me down here in New Orleans?
They're brilliant, controversial, and they're already shaping the future. The question is, who's imagination do we want to live in? This is going to determine the fate of nations and economies and the future of humanity. Listen to the builders on the iHeartRadio app Apple Podcast or every Get Your Podcast. There are thousands of podcasts that can tell you how to better yourself.
Yet, worse with Kyle Brew is not one of those podcasts. So if you're interested in getting thinner, going to therapy, starting peptides and boundaries, taking supplements, making your better, getting closer, then I would humbly recommend other podcasts. But if you're interested in blackmail of bombing cloning yourself or getting revenge, then we've got a little something something for a dastardly individual like you. Take a listen to some of the incredible advice we've given so far. Fake of back injury.
Get the straight hand up your alcohol consumption. Only women should be allowed to have guns. Kill them. Kill them. Kill them.
Oh, the gun. Listen, it's already over. I'm all about lying if it's something that really happened. The next time a bear is running at you, you just calmly stop what you're doing, you look the bear in the eye and you say this isn't you. Do not preserve relationships.
You don't need them. You only need one thing and that's the Get Worse podcast. Listen to Get Worse with Kyle Prunney, iHeartRadio, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. From one of the century, Miss America's Open Country of Fantasy. Well, you're ready ladies?
Here we go. But over the past decade, the crown's been slipping. They said goodbye to Swimsooth's now hello to lawsuits. I'm Regent Armstrong. Last season, we took you inside the world of America's next top model.
Now I'm back with season two of this podcast, Curse of Miss America, investigating the rise, fall, and uncertain future of one of America's most iconic institutions, the Miss America pageant. I never received scholarship I need to pay for my student loans. He looks and goes, you don't look like you suffered in eating disorder. It's great, but looks too ethnic. It's a story the Miss America organization really doesn't want to sizzle.
An exploitation of all of Miss America's is treated by the Miss America organization as an attack on Miss America itself. Listen to the courage of Miss America, on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, I'm Jack Armstrong, he's Joe Getty. We're Armstrong and Getty. We've been trying to figure out how to describe what is Armstrong and Getty on demand from many years.
I'm gonna give it a shot. So most media is either a gender driven or they intentionally lead parts out or they latch. Or they're so shallow. And boring! You don't learn anything anyway.
We try to get to the bottom of the stories that are shaping our world and help you understand what's actually happening. The Armstrong and Getty show practically perfect in every way. I really like it. I've been listening for over 10 years. I'll always be an avid listener and veteran for it.
The show is a collection of silly, serious, and irreverent musings of the day. Hilariously balanced with more than just a pinch of sarcasm. Whether it's on the left or the right, if somebody does something or says something stupid, they're gonna call it out and I love that. I love it. I love it.
I'm rocking with Andy. So give it a try sometimes. Entertaining you learn something. Where do I do? Listen Armstrong, you get a on demand on the iHeartRadio app, or you get your podcast.
The Ben Mallor Show on Fox Sports Radio. As we roll on and on and on and on, World Series beginning tonight, we got the riddle of the day coming up. Also, Benny versus the penny was last hour. But you might get the podcast. We'll be up later on today.
If you missed last hour, we picked the eight most important games of the weekend in the NFL, handicapped them against the spread. The fifth hour podcast returns today. There's a lot of stuff to promote. And don't forget the fifth hour podcast. Today's edition, all about the plumbing in Mexico City, a tribute to the plumbing and the altitude in Mexico City.
That'll enjoy that. Check that out. I'll have that for you coming up in a little bit. You'll be part of the show on the phones, 87799 on Fox. That's 877996669.
Also on X at Ben Mallor. That's at Ben Mallor if you want to be part of the live program. We're right here. You like sausage Ben? In Wisconsin, they have Rotwurst there, and they have really good pretzels.
They also have really good squeaky cheese. Yeah, they have that with the cheese cast on Kenosha. I might have to go visit my brother again, because he never visits me. So I might have to visit him. Does your brother smell like squeaky cheese?
Yeah, my brother actually, his bed is made out of cheese curds. A lot of people don't know that. Oh, lucky man. I wake up nibbling on it every day. Yeah, exactly, exactly.
So Lorena C.R. FSR Tech Queen, Koolup at Braco Fan. That's a Braco fan. Your comments can and will be used against you in the Court of Sports Radio. So please, please, act according.
Time now for the riddle of the day. And here it is. What is the riddle? Well, I'll give you. So the Milwaukee Brewer players will be wearing custom designed blank when they take the field in the World Series tonight.
Donkey sausage says beer holding batting helmets. Our friend Tom from Kansas City, the only home of the Ben Mallard Chicken Fingers at the landing in Liberty, Missouri. Get your own plate of the Ben Mallard Chicken Fingers in Kansas City. Tom says, jocksraps is the answer. Now when you go get the Ben Mallard Chicken Fingers, you say, hey, Mallard sent me to get the chicken fingers.
You got to say that. DJ Spinn Patrick says classic double beer holding baseball helmets as well. Fanny packs from Althe Alien Opiner. What else do we have? A page down.
Andy in Lionel Lakes, Minnesota got it right bad job by him. Rebecca went with the custom beer batting helmet. What else do we have? Not blind. Austin said, brought worse.
The shaped blank is the answer. JT the wingman went with cheese wedge necklaces. That's very important. You got to have that. Milkman Mike got this right bad job by him.
Gunner said the answer is Halloween costumes. They'll be wearing Halloween costumes. Pink jerseys guessed by filler up fill. That's his answer. Who else?
Spiidos guessed by Johnny Q's. Movingman Matt said custom thongs. They'll be wearing custom thongs for the game tonight. What else do we have? This is a page down.
That's enough. Lorena, do you have an answer, Lorena? Yes, custom knitted socks. Custom knitted socks. Is that the correct answer?
So they said no. Sorry. Correct answer the Brewer players will be wearing custom designed cups for their jockstra. They have a nice Brewer logo on the cup. In the ballet, they call that a cod piece, which is, I believe it's different than a cup.
And you can look that up the cod piece there, which is different. But the Brewer players have the Brewer logo right on their junk. So if they get hit in the junk, they're hitting the Brewer logo in the junk. The sex and calls, it is a call in show. We have big bands lame jokes a week coming up a little bit later this hour.
Let's say hello to Anthony, who's in Louisiana. Hello, Anthony, welcome. Hey, man. How you doing? If I was any better, Anthony, I would be a saint, but not an Orleans Saint because you're not a fan of the Saints, right?
Even though you're from Louisiana, you don't like the Saints. I'm a cowboy thing. I know. That's why I said that. Yeah, that's what happens.
That's why I said that's what I said. That's what I said. And that's why I said what I said. Yeah. So what's going on with you, Anthony?
You called up? Oh, yeah. I hope you have a good weekend, me. Oh, that's very kind of you. I appreciate that.
Thank you. It'll be nice to enjoy weekend with plumbing and toilets and toilet paper and all that good stuff. You don't realize how much you missed toilet paper until you can't flush it down the toilet. Hey, you got a good few. Oh, thank you.
I see he does like your humor, Ben. I'm truly touched by that, Anthony. I really am. That means a lot. Hey, hey.
How you doing? Isn't it past your bedtime? What are you doing up to late? I got to call early. OK.
Yeah, we had a lot going on. We don't take calls. Yeah, yeah. We took calls in hour one, but hour two was not good. Well, you take a dollar.
I say, hey, I can't. You got a phone taken away. Yeah, I can't have to. You get close. Yep, still grounded.
Yeah. Well, you have a good weekend. OK, all right. I'm going to have the mask again. Thank you.
Yeah, there you go. Oh, Anthony, Anthony. You there? No, he's gone. Darn it.
Man, I was going to make magic happen here. But unfortunately, I guess he's gone. Oh, no. Let's go now to Berkeley. And we say hello to our astrology insider.
We go inside the cosmos, outside the Milky Way right now. And we say hello to Andrea. Hello, Ben. How are you? If I was any better, I would be a Dodger.
But not an LA Dodger because they'll be watching the World Series on TV tonight because they're not good enough to be in the World Series. And so that's the reality. What's going on with you, though? What do we have here? Big news in the astrology world.
All right. Yes, a couple of things I want to share. First off, the 49ers, Portoncology Podcast. I put that up on your Ben Malus Show, XC, Twitter. And it's on your Facebook as well.
So I wanted to share that. His charts were property, Shanahan, Jed York. It's quite entertaining. And most important, Lorena, I wanted you to know there's a full moon the day before your birthday. Oh, stop it.
Yeah, so you can come in from a real fun plan. I do have a couple of fun plans, like howling at the moon. Well, one thing I want to educate you on, Andrea, because one thing I've known Lorena a few years now, she's worked on the show. And she's not lacking for fun. She's not.
She's definitely not right. Lorena, you'd agree with that. Right, Lorena, you have fun. You have a good time. On a scale of one to fun, yeah.
I'd say have a good time most of time. You're fast to fun. Yeah, definitely. Yeah. All right.
Yeah, that's quite auspicious. It'll be really beautiful. It's Friday night. And if you go out for dinner Saturday or whatever your plans are, a full moon you feel it two days before, the day of, and two days later. So just wanted you to know that there'll be a lovely full moon.
Farmers all been at, called the full hunters moon. So there'll be a full moon. It's the first full moon after the fall equinox. Well, thank you, Andrea. Now we're getting close to the time change, too, right?
November 1st. So yeah, it's a very good, exactly right. Yeah, not thrilled about that. But yes, that is true. So yeah, I just want to wish you happy Scorpio birthday and for your CD.
And for the moon. There's so much. Thank you. And Virgo in service on the X machine for our friend, Andrea. She was back.
And better than ever. With only I had, I didn't look at my board, and then I saw Anthony, and then I was going to hang up on him, and then Andrea's name was on the board. And I didn't put two and two together. Bad job by me. Next day, I load up.
Next time. Hollering James is in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Hello, Hollering James. Loads about time. Hey, what side is the petty land out?
Are you? Oh, you have the radio on in the background. Let's get you a listen. How's the show, son? Can you turn that up?
And Virgo, do you want to hear it? Yeah. On the Chief Warp and Andrea. She was kind of in there. That's a long delay.
That's a lot of the way. Well, you could long delay in Minnesota because of the weather. Yes, yes. We're talking slower because of the bad weather in Minnesota. That's correct.
Yeah. Yeah. OK. Thank you. Anything else?
Is that it? No. What is the heavy symbol of the Vikings game? Who were you liking that one? Were you listening?
That was one of the games. That was one of the games. I was loving. Yeah. And who do I pick?
You picked the Vikings. Well, that's interesting. I didn't actually do that. But I'm glad that you were not listening. That's good.
And it was tough. What is going on? Oh, I think we know. Andrea just pointed out there's a full moon. So that's what's going on.
There's a moon. You excited for the full moon, James? Yes? I think I will. I don't think the problem is Ben.
Are you being possessed by the devil? I mean, he has some obvious political on me. I think he has just taken some of those 36 pills. 36 pills in the morning. 36 pills at night.
Well, James, we're going to let go of you because you sound like you're possessed by demons. So we're going to move on. Hopefully you're OK. For those of you that say we should get James some medical help, we've known James a long time. There have been moments.
He has sounded like this in the past, right? Cool. We've had him on. He sometimes sounds possessed by demons. So you know, Ben, I think he just needs more sleep.
When was the last time that we went to him and he was snoring? It's been a minute. Yeah, they changed his medicine. So that's what happens. But there he goes.
Hollering, James, what a treat that was. My God. All right. Do we get credit for the demon listening or no? We don't get credit for that?
I don't think so. Apparently not. That's unfortunate. After that call, I think we need to take a break and pause. And we have Big Ben's lame jokes of the week.

If there's a million times more digital intelligence than there is biological intelligence, it's hard to imagine humans being in control of that scenario. Unwalter Isaacson hosted the new podcast, The Builders. Right now, living through an AI arms race. So I went directly to the people shaping that future.
Dealing on Musk, Dario, Amine, Alex Scott, Fifei Lee, Farmer Lucky, because I wanted to understand what the most consequential builders believe, what they feel, and where they think this is all headed. Silicon Valley is always saying the cliche thing about the way to predict that future is to create it.
Listen to the Builders on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts.
There are thousands of podcasts that can tell you how to better yourself. Get Works with Kyle Brew is not one of those podcasts. So if you're interested in getting thinner, going to therapy, starting peptides, setting boundaries, taking supplements, making your better, getting closure, then I would humbly recommend other podcasts. But if you're interested in blackmail, love, bomb, and cloning yourself or getting revenge, then we've got a little something, something for a dastardly individual like you. Take a listen to some of the incredible advice we've given so far.
Fake a back injury. Get this right hand up your alcohol consumption. Only women should be allowed to have guns. Kill him. Kill him, kill him.
Listen, it's already over. I'm all about lying if it's something that really happened. The next time a bear is running at you, you just calmly stop what you're doing, you look the bear in the eye and you say this isn't you. Do not preserve relationships. You don't need them.
You only need one thing, and that's the Get Works podcast. Listen to Get Works with Kyle Prue on the iHeartRadio app Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcasts. For more than a century, Miss America's Open Country is fantasy. Well, are you ready ladies? Here we go.
But over the past decade, the crown's been slipping. They said, goodbye to Swimsooosh now. Hello to Lawsuits. I'm Richard Armstrong. Last season, we took you inside the world of America's next top model.
Now I'm back with season two of this podcast, Curse of Miss America, investigating the rise, fall, and uncertain future of one of America's most iconic institutions, the Miss America pageant. I never received scholarship. I need to pay for my student loans. I can't look at any of those. You don't look like you suffered in the eating disorder.
It's great, but it looks too ethnic. It's a story the Miss America organization really doesn't want to sit down. An exploitation of Armisth America's is treated by the Miss America organization as an attack on Miss America itself. Listen to the courage of Miss America on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcast. Hey, I'm Jack Armstrong.
He's Joe Getty. We're Armstrong and Getty. We've been trying to figure out how to describe what is Armstrong and Getty on demand for many years. I'm going to give it a shot. So most media is either a gender driven.
They intentionally lead parts out or they like to. Or they're so shallow. And boring. You don't learn anything anyway. We try to get to the bottom of the stories that are shaping our worlds and help you understand what's actually happening.
The Armstrong and Getty show practically perfect in every way. I really like it. So I've been listening for over 10 years. I'll always be an editor and editor and for it. The show is a collection of silly, serious, and irreverent musings of the day.
Hilariously balanced with more than just a pinch of sarcasm. Whether it's on the left or the right. If somebody does something or says something stupid, they're going to call it out. And I love that. I love it.
Keep up the great work. I'm rocking with Angie. So give it a try sometime. Entertaining you learn something. Where do I do it?

Is it Saturday? No, it's Saturday this year. Okay. That means it won't be on a good day for another seven years. All right.
Did you hear Jimmy Kimmel was trying out weed man hippie jokes for a show? Wow. Cool. Yeah, sadly none of them worked. None of them worked.
Just like you. That's Joe in Virginia Beach. What is weed man's favorite part of a basketball game? What? Garbage time.
That's surfer time. How can you tell weed man is getting cold? Oh, his gums start chattering. That's Noah in Austin. Kevin Kansas says, what's easier to understand than weed man hippie on the Sunday fifth hour mailbag?
What? A teacher using a tin can in strings speaking Russian. People hate your phone. Why did we man by a boat. There was a sale on it.
That's why. There you go. What do you get when you cross Michael Evercon and weed man hippie? What? A green midget looking for Ootropica gold and the end of the rainbow.
