Hour 3: X Games athletes are a different breed

The X Games are taking over the Caesars Superdome, and WWL gets you ready for all the action! Scoot talks to Professional freestyle motocross (FMX) rider Wyatt Fontenot who is currently competing in the 2026 MoonPay X Games Championship at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The 28-year-old athlete from Opelousas, Louisiana, is riding a custom Mardi Gras-themed dirt bike to celebrate competing in his home state. He is scheduled to take the field for his signature Moto X Best Whip event on Friday. A breakout star in the BMX Dirt discipline, Brady Baker how has won gold as a 20-year-old rookie at X Games California 2023, then backed it up with another gold at X Games Ventura 2024, and most recently silver at X Games Salt Lake City 2025. Known for his trick progression and calm strategy, Baker is currently building his own riding compound in Auburn, CA. A proud New Jersey native, he grew up riding at Scotty Cranmer’s park and shares a high school alma mater with Garrett Reynolds. X Games Salt Lake City 2025 Skateboard Park gold medalist (and Chiba 2024 Park bronze medalist as an XG rookie) Heili Sirviö was born in Helsinki, Finland, and raised on Australia’s Gold Coast. Heili grew up surfing before discovering skateboarding during the 2020 pandemic. What started as passing time on her dad’s old skateboard quickly turned into a full-blown passion, and less than four years later she reached the finals at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, finishing 5th as the youngest Finnish Olympian in history.
