How do you know that Claude won't become manipulative? This is a constant worry. And you can actually catch the model thinking, I think X is actually true, but I'm going to tell the user why. I'm Walter Isaacson. On my new podcast, The Builders, I'm going inside the minds of the people shaping our future. Listen to The Builders starting October 13th on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Hey, I'm Jack Armstrong. He's Joe Getty. We've been trying to figure out how to describe what is Armstrong and Getty on demand for many years. I'm going to give it a shot. So most media is either agenda-driven or they're so shallow. And boring. You don't learn anything anyway. We try to get to the bottom of the stories that are shaping our worlds and help you understand what's actually happening. So give it a try sometime. Entertaining and you learn something? What do I do now? Listen to Armstrong and Getty on demand on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

I'm Stacey Vanek-Smith. I'm Max Shafkin. We are both journalists at Bloomberg Businessweek. And our podcast, Everybody's Business, finds the meaning behind the numbers. Things like, why is ice cream so expensive right now? Is Polymarket the new stock market? And Max, will we ever retire? Because decoding the money, power, and influence that moves the world is everybody's business. Listen to Everybody's Business on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Bloomberg's Big Take podcast has everything you need to know about the most expensive midterms in U.S. history, like the money being spent to control the Senate. Everyone has been waiting to see how Trump will spend his big war chest. He was sitting on nearly half a billion dollars. How candidates are rewriting their party's playbooks, and how big business is throwing its money into the ring. There is obviously the AI super PACs, which are two sides there, so they're spending sometimes on different sides of races, sometimes on the same side of races. Listen to the Big Take on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Here we go! And Shazam! It's our number for the Ben Maller Show. The Ben Maller Show.

We have the fifth hour podcast today as well. But here in hour number four, how does Jerry Jones feel about Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb declaring that nobody can guard him? We'll talk about that. Is Chris Carter right to put the kibosh on the Vikings having a Kirk Cousins reunion? That rumor's been bouncing around the last couple days. And are the Raiders making a mistake? They're claiming some that they're going to hold on to Max Crosby at the trade deadline. We'll talk about all that and more right now. Settle in. Have a great weekend. Remember, fifth hour podcast. Here it is, hour number four.

As innocent as a lamb. As innocent as a lamb. Say what? Welcome in the beginning of another hour of the Ben Maller Show. We are in the air everywhere. Bosom buddies. As we go back to basics. Coast to coast. Border to border and beyond. On the vast and thunderously powerful microphones of FSR emanating live.

The mash as we do the monster mash. It's a graveyard smash. Guaranteed human from the world famous Fox Sports Radio Studios. where Big Sexy, our friend, the late great, we're honoring, we used a Ouija board to contact the legends that have moved across the pearly gates, and one of our favorites, Big Sexy, competitive eater, he was a Denver Nuggets male dancer, and just a great guy, he checked in, he said, hey, Maller, can you let me know about Fox 1? I said, sure, no problem, as long as our friend David from Winter Park, Florida, and Roscoe the Parrot want to know about that, and Big Sexy said he did talk to David in Winter Park, no longer in Winter Park, Florida, he's living across the pearly gates, and Roscoe the Parrot, and they both agreed, there's nothing like live.

This fall, every NFL on Fox game streams live on Fox 1. Every Sunday, every rivalry. Miss it live. And you're just watching a highlight. Don't be that person. Come on. Catch every play as it happens. NFL on Fox streaming on Fox 1. And one of the all-time legends in the early days of the show, Spokane Gary. I got a hold of Spokane Gary across the pearly gates. And he said, tell the people about DraftKings. I said, okay, Spokane Gary. And by the way, Del Murphy's still not in the Hall of Fame. DraftKings, an official partner of the NBA. Now available in all 50 states. So wherever you live.

Follow your favorite NBA stars. Get excited about the biggest matchups and lock in on those buzzer-beating moments. And with DraftKings, it's all in one app. Right now, use the promo code MALLER to claim your special offer at DraftKings. Again, that's promo code MALLER at DraftKings. The crown is yours. And with that, we're back at it as we had a NFL game last night, and that turned out to be not the greatest game in the world unless you had the Green Bay Packers and you laid the small line there as they end up covering the number. Carolina, they continue to pretend that Bryce Young is a good quarterback. He is not.

We'll see if they pay him. Certainly doesn't deserve the money if you've actually watched the games. Meanwhile, our lead this hour is from Dallas. Another day, another headline for Jerry Jones' team. So if you did not hear the latest on this, perhaps not, Cowboys receiver C.D. Lamb, the great C.D. Lamb, doubling down, down, down, down on the declaration that no defensive back in the NFL, not a single one, can consistently cover him one-on-one. It cannot happen. Cannot happen. That's according to C.D. Lamb. He said it. C.D. Lamb said it. It must be true. So he went on a rant recently and was asked about it again. He was asked for a follow-up about his confidence. Lamb explained, quote, I feel like I can beat anybody in front of me. I'm going to stand on that.

Lamb crediting his ability to line up anywhere in the Dallas offense and execute the playbook, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, as the reason no one can guard him. That's a good jumping off point. Let us discuss the question. How does Jerry Jones feel? How do you think Jerry Jones feels? You'd be the psychologist. How do you think Jerry Jones feels about his star receiver, CeeDee Lamb, declaring that nobody can guard him? So I've got Drum.

Six Flags, Magic Mountain, and Waffle House. And we'll combine all of these things together for Benjamin. We're going to have some jambalaya. We got to have the gabagool for Tillio, my friend in Florida. And we'll have the baba ganoush and even some matzo ball soup. We'll have a little bit of this, a little bit of that. It's a potluck, if you will. Now, first of all, to answer the question, how does Jerry Jones feel about the Cowboys receiver, CeeDee Lamb, declaring that he is unguardable? Jerry...

is grinning like a Cheshire cat who just swallowed the entire canary factory. Every man, woman, and child knows this. Jerry Jones is the dean of the University of Unsubstantiated Hyperbole. And CD is actually the drum major of the Dallas Cowboys marching band, which happens to also perform at halftime for the University of Unsubstantiated Hyperbole. That's UUH.

Now, CD as the drum major is high-stepping, baton-twirling, and marching straight towards another early vacation when the playoffs get here, if the Cowboys even make the playoffs, which, oh, by the way, right now doesn't look all that promising. Dallas does not need a publicist, as we mention quite often here. If anything, they need a volume control. The Cowboys lead the NFL in three categories. Shotties, Cowboys lead the NFL in three categories. Bravado, Bluster, and Braggadocio. They're at the very top. And good for them. I have a Sports Talk radio show today. I'm very happy for the Cowboys. They have more swagger.

than substance. They've got more sizzle than steak. And CeeDee Lamb, he's like the naked cowboy. Ever seen it in Times Square? They got that guy, the naked cowboy, wears his underwear with a guitar. He's the naked cowboy of the NFL. A lot of posing, plenty of attention, a lot of pictures, but not much to show when the music stops, right? And it gets a little cold, it's a problem. Now, secondly, to Minnesota we go, where there are rumors that have been swirling. The trade deadline's coming up in less than two weeks. And is there a chance that the Minnesota football team would trade for Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins?

The theory, kind of obviously, the Raiders suck. Everyone knows they suck. They're starting to realize they blow. And so at some point, you assume they're going to have to play a gentleman who they drafted number one overall, who's just standing around on the bench looking like a doofus, and they got to play the guy, Mendoza. So if they play Mendoza, why not trade Cousins to a legitimate contender? Well, Vikings legend Chris Carter has entered the chat, and he wants no part of a reunion. Carter believes that bringing Kirk Cousins back to the Twin Cities would disrupt what the new front office has put in as the culture.

the GM there in Minnesota. The Vikings are 6-0 despite Kyler Murray being the architect, the leader of the NFL's 29th-ranked offense. Now, meanwhile, Cousins is 38. He leads the NFL with 16 touchdown passes. And statistically, he's been very good for the Raiders. Yet, you know, look around. Chris Carter's parting shot was. Cousins already took enough of the Vikings' money the last time he was in Minnesota. All right, so the question.

Is Kirk Cousins right to put the kibosh on the Vikings having a Kirk Cousins reunion? You make the call. So I have a question. When did Chris Carter become the bouncer of the Vikings nightclub? At what point did that happen? Carter is guarding the front door.

Like Kirk Cousins. You know, it's like Cousins is knocking on the door. He's a Jehovah's Witness selling encyclopedias back in the day. And Carter's like, I don't want that. Don't open the door. Do not do it. And the Vikings are playing Russian roulette. What they're doing right now is not sustainable. They have a championship caliber defense. The NFC is wide open. The Rams are not anywhere close to what they were supposed to be. The 49ers will be broken by the end of the year. They're already broken. And Seattle's got Sam Darnold, so you can't take them seriously. So the upper echelon of the NFC, you know, the Bears made a big move, so they've got something in the division.

Lions aren't as good as they've been in recent years. So there's an opportunity there. There's an opportunity there. And yet you got this stooge, Kyler Murray, who looks like he's trying to operate the Twisted Colossus roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain without meeting the proper height requirement. I don't think you can use a booster seat on a roller coaster. And Kyler Murray has mastered the art of being undefeated while contributing as much as Victor the Viking.

This is a group project, and Kyler Murray is playing video games in the back of the room. He's not really helping the group. Now, I'm not going to sit here after years and years of pointing out the flaws of Kirk Cousins. We have criticized Cousins for many, many years. I'm not going to sit here and pretend like he's the perfect solution. He's not. However, compared to Kyler Murray right now, he looks like Josh Allen. The Vikings offense is a low-budget production. They're 29th in the NFL, as we mentioned, supported by an Oscar-worthy defense.

So you don't waste it because of hurt feelings. Kirk Cousins is not some shiny new toy who's guaranteed to succeed. You know that, and I know that. If anything, Kirk Cousins is a refurbished appliance with a warranty. But at least the damn thing works. And he wouldn't cost you much because he's an old quarterback and the Raiders are going to bench him. And at some point you'd assume unless Mendoza is so bad they can't play him. He's unplayable. And then that's even more embarrassing. Fernando Mendoza being unplayable. All right, final thought. We stay with Vegas. Aside from Kirk Cousins, there's a lot of chatter that the Raiders are contemplating making another deal involving Mad Max, Max Crosby.

They're reportedly demanding not one, but two first-round draft picks for Max Crosby ahead of the trade deadline. Now, that was the price Baltimore agreed to. Remember last trading season? In the offseason, the Ravens are like, oh, yeah, we'll send you a couple first-round picks. We'll even toss in sports with Coleman. And sports with Coleman said, I don't want to go to Vegas. I don't go west of the Mississippi, so I can't go to Vegas. And the Ravens, they said, OK, well, he doesn't want to do it, so the trade's off. And they backed out of it because of concerns about sports with Coleman not wanting to go. Either that or Crosby had a surgically repaired knee that they claimed was a problem. So an anonymous NFL GM, you know, I love my anonymous NFL GMs, insisting that Max Crosby remains dominant, declared the knee is not holding Crosby back.

I wonder if that GM might or might not be employed by the Raiders. Dallas remains linked to Max Crosby. Jerry Jones attempted to downplay a blockbuster deal recently saying a trade is unlikely before the deadline. Remember, though, all trades, every single trade is unlikely. They're all surprises, not questioned.

Are the Raiders making a mistake by holding on to Max Crosby, if that's the decision? It certainly seems today that's what they're saying. Of course, it's also likely it's just an attempt to drive up the bidding. But in terms of answering the question, would the Raiders be making a mistake by holding on to Max Crosby? I am nodding my head. Yes. I'm nodding my yes. And they've changed the slogan over the years. It used to be just win, baby. Now it's just suck, baby. And they're really good at that. Mark Davis said, I'm going to update, do a little workshop on my dad's just win, baby. I'm going to go just suck, baby. And that's the modern Raiders. Commitment to excrement. That's your Raiders.

And all those fanboys who love their little Raiders there, they've suddenly gone very quiet. I don't know why. Why would you go quiet? You were very proud of your team when you beat a bunch of tomato cans to start the year. You started playing some real teams, and all of a sudden, loss, loss, loss, loss. Yeah, you keep losing. I wonder why that is. Almost like you were total frauds. Total frauds. The whole franchise. I love how the fans sit in the black hole. The entire franchise is trapped in a black hole of irrelevance. And Max Crosby, at this point, having Max Crosby on that suckbag Raider team is like having a five-star chef working the overnight shift at the Waffle House. What are you doing? The Raiders franchise.

They're living in a cardboard box outside the Bellagio, and they refuse, refuse to sell the Rolex watch that they have because it completes the outfit. No, you don't need that. You don't need that. Crosby is a luxury yacht parked in a sewage treatment plant at this particular point. Beautiful vessel. Got wear and tear from the ocean. Wrong neighborhood. Wrong neighborhood. It's a seller's market. At this point, we've seen a bunch of trades. Colt traded a couple guys. The Titans are having a fire sale now, and they're starting to trade people. And even if you believe the Raiders are finally going to head around the mountain, they're going to...

Go the right direction, right? And they're close. If you think that, that's fine. By the time they're actually a legitimate Super Bowl contender, Max Crosby is going to have his own podcast network with a bunch of bots listening and no real people and a tequila brand and a documentary about his journey. So listen, make the trade cash in.

You'll just butcher the draft picks, but at least you'll get some draft picks, and that'll make your fan base all excited. They'll get a little warm and fuzzy and tingly and all that stuff. It is the Ben Maller Show. And if you would like to be part, you can join us right now at 877-99-ON-FOX. That's 877-9966-369, also on X, at Ben Maller. So I got an email from Reggie in Detroit. He's a big podcast guy, but he's listening live. And he said that I teased something earlier, and I didn't pay it off, which is a good point. I don't believe I did pay it off. The most obtuse...

person in sports. We'll circle back to that. We'll pay that off. It's a bad job by us. We'll correct that sin. And the Milwaukee Brewers have revealed the secret that inspired them to win the World Series. A shocking revelation on something the boys did before games that gave them a superpower and inspired them to win the World Series. We'll get to that and we will do it next. Be sure to catch live editions of the Ben Maller Show weekdays at 2 a.m. Eastern, 11 p.m. Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Welcome to Football Doesn't Lie. Hi, I'm Bill Parcells. And I'm Catherine Zatzora. I have a lot of experience in the game of football, Catherine. And I'm learning the game with Bill's help. Every week, we're going to talk about the NFL slate through the lens of Bill's expertise as he coaches me from novice fan to football expert over the course of the season. You know, I'm looking forward to this show, Catherine, and hopefully we can give our audience a little in-depth look into the inner sanctum of pro football that they can't get anywhere else. Tune in every Thursday for unfiltered stories from Coach Parcells, analysis on the state of the modern game, and education on how football really works. Continuity is very important, but what happens...

When you get good coaches on your staff and people begin to recognize them, then they want to hire them. And then you can't stop a guy from trying to improve himself, but you have to replace them. Because once you understand what's going on inside the mind of the coaches, you'll understand more about the whole game. So all aspects can be discussed. The only thing I haven't done, because I didn't have enough money, I don't own the team. I never owned a team. Listen to Football Doesn't Lie on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

If there's a million times more digital intelligence than there is biological intelligence, it's hard to imagine humans being in control in that scenario. I'm Walter Isaacson, host of the new podcast, The Builders. Right now, we're living through an AI arms race. So I went directly to the people shaping that future. Elon Musk, Dario Almanac, Alex Carr, Feifei Lee, Palmer Luckey. Because I wanted to understand what the most consequential builders believe, what they fear, and where they think this is all headed. Silicon Valley is always saying the cliche thing about the way to predict the future is to create it. Well, yeah, it's up to us. But when you say us, who's us? Is it 400 people that you know in Silicon Valley? Is it me down here in New Orleans? They're brilliant, controversial, and they're already shaping the future. The question is, whose imagination do we want to live in?

This is going to determine the fate of nations and economies and the future of humanity. Listen to The Builders on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, I'm Jack Armstrong. He's Joe Getty. We're Armstrong and Getty. We've been trying to figure out how to describe what is Armstrong and Getty on demand for many years. I'm going to give it a shot. So most media is either agenda driven. Do they intentionally lead parts out or they lie to you? Or they're so shallow. And boring. You don't learn anything anyway. We try to get to the bottom of the stories that are shaping our worlds and help you understand what's actually happening. The Armstrong and Getty Show, practically perfect in every way. Yeah, I really like your guys' show. I've been listening for over 10 years. I'll always be an avid listener and better informed for it. The show is a collection of silly, serious, and irreverent musings of the day. Hilariously balanced with more than just a pinch of sarcasm. Whether it's on the left or the right, if somebody does something or something.

A decade ago, the ethanol kingpin of Iowa became the king of corn in Brazil. So we met with a lot of larger farmers, went from Bahia to Tocatines to Mato Grosso. They brought a team of executives. They were going to help the country get in on a gold rush. Carbon and its derivatives are going to be really the next great commodity that the globe's going to trade. But back home in Iowa, trouble was brewing.

If you live in Iowa, your land, your water, and your voice could all be at risk thanks to a man named Bruce Rastetter. Now people are questioning if his climate solutions have anything to do with climate at all. On this season of Drilled, Carbon Cowboys, the story of how the ethanol kingpin of Iowa became the king of corn in Brazil, and what it tells us about the limits of technology and markets to solve the climate crisis. Listen on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Yeah, I quote this song a lot. I don't know why I like this song.

Not bad, right? It's old. It's a classic. It is a classic. I agree. It recently went viral again because of the recording of the guy singing this, making a bunch of weird faces while he sings. Oh, really? I didn't see that. Okay. Well, Ben Maller Show, we're here every night and on the weekends. We call the Fifth Hour Podcast our little add-on item. And if you're a real member of the Maller Militia, a real fan of the show, and you support the show, we need your help. Listen to that Fifth Hour Podcast. And today's episode, we're going to tell some old stories about a very well-known member of the...

Fox Sports Radio Alumni Association, and somebody that I worked with in the past who was one of the coolest people I came across in my many years here at Fox Sports Radio and was a well-known member of the sporting world. Coach, he was coach, and you'll hear that. Just tune in to the Fifth Hour Podcast. Also, we've got the Coop Scoop on entertainment coming up in a couple minutes. If you want to be part of the program, 877-99 on Fox. We do have a great Halloween here at Ben Maller, Lorena, FSR Tech Queen, and Koopa Loop at A Bronco Fan.

It's a heart-beating situation. So check out those accounts and follow everyone. And thank you, thank you, thank you. We press on. Big Halloween plans, Lorena Party, trick-or-treating, big plans this weekend. I'm going to be at the Grand Californian all weekend. Oh, for those who don't know, that's at Disneyland, right? Yeah, it's the fancy hotel there. And I'm going to trick-or-treat in downtown Disney.

Okay. So you're still young enough. You're able to trick-or-treat. That's good. I wear a mask. Yeah, that's the way to do it. Coop, you going trick-or-treating, Coop? You going to go out and get some candy around the neighborhood? No. No, I don't think I can do that anymore. Wear a mask. You can wear a mask, you know. That's true. Yeah, I might be able to do that. Do they still do the stories? When I was a kid, I'm old, but they used to do stories. Parents, you better check your kid's candy. You have to get an x-rayed because there might be razor blades in it. That was like a big thing when I was a kid. I was like, they always try to scare you at Halloween. They're like, oh, there could be razor blades. They're going to poison your candy. Yeah, now it's, you know, check the chocolate for fentanyl.

For Fentanyl. What are they, going to MacArthur Park to get trick-or-treats? What are they doing here in famous Fentanyl den here in L.A.? My God. Anyway, it is the Bain to Mouse Show. All right, let's go to the phones. We haven't taken a call in a while. And we have the Coop Scoop on entertainment, so we have that to look forward to as well. Let's say hello to, let's go to Matt Man, the Fins fan. All right, that's a new name. Matt Man, the Fins fan. And he's still a Fins fan, the way that team is? Hello, Matt Man, the Fins fan. Welcome.

Hey, good morning. How are you guys doing? This is Matt Manifin's fan calling from Altamont Springs, Florida. And I listen to you guys on my way into work every morning, and I notice you're missing a diehard Dolphin fan on the program. So here I am. I'm calling in as your resident diehard Miami Dolphins fan. Now, how big an expert are you on the Miami Dolphins? How far back do you go with the Dolphins? So, a little back story. My grandfather bought season tickets in 1966, their inaugural season. And between himself, my dad, my brother, and myself, we have been to every home game since 1966.

Wow. That's a lot. And unfortunately for the people that have gone recently, not good football. But back in the day, that was where it's at. Back in the day, it was good. You had 72 and 73. You had the undefeated season, beating the Redskins 14-7. And then you had the 73 season, beating the Vikings. Those back-to-back. And then, of course, those were Shula. And then you had the Shula-Marino years. I'm old enough to have been there for the latter half of the Marino years, so the late 80s, early 90s.

Marino years where he wasn't as good, but he was still Marino. But to put it, the last playoff win I remember was in 2000. I was 13 years old, and I was at that game against the Colts. Lamar Smith ran for 207 yards and beat the Colts in overtime. Didn't they lose? Dan Marino's last game was against, wasn't it, Jacksonville? They got run off the field, the Dolphins, I think. They got blown out 62-7, yes. Yeah, what year was that? That was 99.

Oh, my God. That was before Fox Sports Radio. I was doing local radio. But I remember how outrageous that was to lose like that. All right. Well, listen. I mean, I wish the Dolphins were better. It's a bad team. But if we have any need for Dolphin content, you can call up and we can scream and shout and yell about the Dolphins. I'd be more than happy to have you part of the Mallard Militia. So, first of all, thank you for listening. All right. Well, thank you for listening. And you'll be my go-to Dolphin guy. If I need Dolphin content, you'll be my guy. So, have a great Halloween weekend there. All right. There you go. So, how about that? Let's keep it. Yeah.

Let's go to, who do we have this year? Eeny, eeny, meeny, miny, moe, pick a caller by the name. Did I see, I think I saw Ben Jammon on there, our buddy from New Orleans. Hello, Ben Jammon, welcome. Miley, man, thank you for taking my call. I've been missing you. I've been out of pocket for a little while, but I've been just depressed, depressed. You know, you can only be from the state of Louisiana. If you're from the state of Louisiana, you've got to have the worst football team. We're not only the worst football team in the lower 48, we're the worst football team in two continents.

Congratulations. That's impressive. Well, you know, I thought we'd go to France. I mean, that's the motherland for New Orleans. And we go over there and just lay – we didn't even serve a beignet. We laid an egg over there. And also, Benjamin, you scored no points in the second half. All I needed was a field goal. You wouldn't cover the spread. Bad job by then. We can't cover anything. And then, you know, basketball started. Lord, we got the Pelicans. Oh, my Lord. Thank God we don't have a baseball team. They would suck too up there. I love your optimism. At least the food is good, though. You got the beignets. The one thing, though, you know, because –

Kudat has it better than us with, because no matter how bad they are, we see a laissez-monton roulette, let the good times roll. And you know, if I get off work this morning, and the first thing I hear, I hear my name on your show. Man, that's like taking me to the top of the biggest cypress tree in the swamp. You know, it's awesome. I thank you for that. All right. Well, we love you, Benjamin. Hey, I got one question real quick. I need your address, because I want to gift y'all some good Bourbon Street beignets. All right. Listen, all right. You don't have to ask twice. I'm going to put you on hold here. Coop, make sure you pick up Benjamin there. Give him our mailing address and let him know.

You've got to send it a certain day because if you don't send it the right day, we might not get it for five years. So you have to pick the right day. You have to pick the right day. That's very important. We've got, let's see, who's next here? We've got, oh, the Flying Dutchman. Let's say hello to the Flying Dutchman. Hello, Flying Dutchman. Welcome.

Hey there, Mr. Van Mauer. It's been such a long time. It is your good pal, SpongeBob. The Rampans wanted to wish you a berry. Happy Halloween. As me and Patrick go looking for Schmitty, where he gets his hat. He was number one. Hey there, Van Mauer. I just want to wish you a berry. Happy Halloween. And Loretta and the Coop Dizzle. All right. The Flying Dutchman. Wow, that was impressive. That was quality.

That was wild. That's like daytime radio. We're an overnight show, dude. What are we doing here? Are we paying him, Coop? Are we paying him? We don't have a budget. What are we doing? Wow. That was really good. Next level. I don't know how to follow that up. Oh, man alive. Real quick. Marcel. Let me bring Marcel. We've got the Coop Scoop on our team. I've got to ask Marcel a couple of things, though. I've got to get Marcel's perspective. Marcel, are you there? Marcel in Brooklyn. Yes, I am. Do you want to say hello to the idiot con?

Well, hold on a sec. Let me see here. Now, here's the deal. So the Green Bay Packers, Josh Jacobs, did you see what Josh Jacobs did to celebrate his touchdown? Did you see what he did in the second quarter? He scored a touchdown. It was a third and goal, and that gave the Packers the lead about six minutes to go in the second quarter. Did you see what he did? Yes, he is. What was his celebration? Dance, I think. I don't know what you're talking about. No, Josh Jacobs pretended that he was being handcuffed after he scored the touchdown. Handcuffed? Which wouldn't be a problem if he hadn't just been arrested for battery of a woman in May. Other than that, it would have been fine. I guess he's lacking situational awareness.

All right. And then last one for you, Marcel. This is very important. The Milwaukee Brewers claimed that what they did blank before games as a good luck charm, and they would do it around batting practice, around the batting cage, they would do this, and this is what inspired them to win the World Series. What do you think it was, Marcel? Marcel and Brooklyn, what do you think the Brewers were doing around the batting cage that was their good luck charm? Definitely safe. So last one, please, all the outs.

All right, you have no idea. So the correct answer is they were smoking cigarettes before games. Smoking cigarettes? Yeah, yeah. Their motto was, if we smoke heaters in the cage, we will smoke heaters in the game. All right, toss the coop, please. Toss the coop, toss the coop, toss the coop, toss the coop. And here is Justin Cooper at our Bronco fan on X. And please beware, people. Cigarette is definitely not.

Good. Thank you for that, Marcel. A lot of people chain smoke all over. That might be the best toss I've had yet. He's going to get kicked out of the projects in Brooklyn if he keeps that up. All right. We're going to start over in the theater, as we always do here on Coop Scoop Entertainment. A couple movies that I want to point out. The first one is called The Mosquito Bowl out this weekend. This one's got middling reviews. Is that a horror movie? It's a war movie. Yes, it takes place after the attack on Pearl Harbor for elite college football players.

their fame aside and enlist in the Marines and follows their journey and bonds of brotherhood. This one stars Bill Skarsgård. And moving on, a documentary out this weekend in theaters. And this one, I'm pretty interested in. It's got good reviews. It's called Everest, The Other Side. And it follows elite ski mountaineers, Jim Morrison, not that Jim Morrison, and Hilary Nelson, who fall deeply in love while reaching the pinnacle of their sport. They want to climb and ski the direct north face of Mount Everest, the most difficult and dangerous climb on the mountain and the most coveted ski line on Earth. Apparently thousands have summited...

the Southeast Ridge, but only a handful have ever reached the top by this route, and no one has successfully skied down, and so this documentary is them trying to do just that. Okay. Are they skied by all the bodies and all that? Probably, yeah. They're just there. So those are the two movies in theaters. Moving on to television, a couple things that I want to point out. The first one is The Return of Dexter Resurrection. Yes, this is the second season of the Dexter Revival series. It's available right now on Paramount+. Of course, Michael C. Hall stars as Dexter, and we will see Kristen Ritter, Eric Stonestreet, and Uma Thurman.

returning for this season, as well as Gabriel Luna. So it premieres today on Paramount+, but the subsequent episodes will be every Sunday night at 8 p.m., beginning on November 1st. Are people actually going to watch Sunday night at 8 p.m., or are they just going to watch when they want to? Probably when they want to. That's what I do. Yeah, exactly. And then last, well, actually not last, second to last, we have a new series on Apple TV. It is called Nocturne.

and it is an adaptation of crime novels. Liev Schreiber stars as a renamed protagonist Jonah Lynn, a former soldier turned homicide detective who relocates from Philadelphia in search of a quieter life in a small town in western Pennsylvania. But there he finds himself matching wits with a serial killer played by Stephen Graham. Ooh. Yes, with the help of his surrogate daughter, an FBI agent portrayed by Zazie Beetz.

That's the name, Zazie Beetz? Yep, that is the name. Bill Camp and Rory Culkin also star in this new show. The first two of ten episodes are available right now, today on Apple TV. Remaining episodes arrive weekly through December 25th. And now, last but not least, we have the return of an Apple TV show on Wednesday, November 4th, the second season of the golf comedy Stick, starring Owen Wilson. And this season, we'll see Rhea Seahorn join the cast as well. And that is Kuchu Entertainment. All right. Thank you for that, Coop. By the way,

One of our listeners in Wisconsin just sent me, he said, Josh Jacobs was asked about his touchdown celebration, which everyone seems to think was him putting handcuffs on himself. And he said when he put his hands behind his back, it was an ode to a gospel song, Break Every Chain. Okay. Does anyone believe that? Okay. Even if that's true, like, what are you doing, dude? You know, it's the perception is reality. And the perception is that you were mocking the fact that you got popped for domestic abuse and nothing's going to happen. People scream and shout. That's it.

Not the smartest bulb. All right. It is the Ben Maller Show as we press on. Now, Coop, we got some people on hold. You can go through them and see if they want to play. Anybody wants to play Jeopardy. If not, we'll have a spot open. Sports Jeopardy. We'll get to that. We'll do it next. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. If there's a million times more digital intelligence than there is biological intelligence, it's hard to imagine humans being in control in that scenario. I'm Walter Isaacson, host of the new podcast, The Builders. Right now, we're living through an AI arms race.

So I went directly to the people shaping that future. Elon Musk, Dario Hominay, Alex Carr, Feifei Lee, Palmer Luckey.

Listen to The Builders on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Hey, it's J.O. from Laugh With Me, the podcast. So why would you choose Laugh With Me? Well, great question. Maybe you like comedy. Maybe you like sports. Maybe you like movies, ridiculous stories, terrible opinions, questionable rankings, and a grown man somehow turning everyday life into a personal emergency. The 62nd round pick by the Dodgers would go on to become a household name. Phillip. Mike Piazza. Wow, Phillip. Are you cheating? Yeah, Michael Piazza. He also collected eight gold gloves. Chris. Chris. We're just a little.

No, that is incorrect. Would you like to steal Phillip? The Hawk? Yeah, what's his name, though? Andre Dawson? That is correct. Andre Dawson. Look at you. You got smoke, Chris. You got smoke, my man.
