House GOP looks to shore up support for stopgap ahead of floor vote

House Republicans are pushing their take on a spending stopgap as they attempt to lock in support from their conference. The newly unveiled CR would extend some health provisions and include funding for a Defense program that's a priority for lawmakers but not the Trump administration.
