House of Hope opens for eating disorder recovery

More than 1.1 million Australians are living with an eating disorder, with more people dying each year from these conditions than the national road toll. Mark Forbes and his wife Gay founded EndEd 11 years ago after two of their daughters developed eating disorders, recently opening the House of Hope on the Sunshine Coast—a first-of-its-kind residential facility providing an intermediate care option between hospital and rehabilitation.
