House Party (1990) S2E7

On this edition of The Open Tabs Podcast, Joe and Calvin house the party. We go ALL the way in on Reginald Hudlin’s 1990 Sundance Award winning teen classic, House Party. Starring Christopher “Kid” Reid and Christopher “Play” Martin along with the late great Robin Harris, Tisha Campbell, Martin Lawrence, Full Force, former Miss Maroon and White A.J. Johnson, and even the OTHER A.J. Johnson (Ezell from Friday) among a host of others. This day in the life of suburban teenagers just trying to have a little fun is just as good as it was at release. We have a ton of personal anecdotes and stories on this one! All are invited....except the oddly adult bully classmates. Y’all stay home!
